Kitab al-Fitan of Nu'aym ibn Hammad: ungraded, and weak overall. Never established on its own.

Let the people of this city spend the night, and then in the morning, meaning Homs, and he comes out of the eastern gate and does not see Sunair, so he deceives himself, so he gives the call to its people, and they go out and look at what he looked at, and they are in Lebanon where he is, and behold, Sunir has gone from his place, and they stay for as long as Allah wills that day until a person comes to them from two dialogues and says: Sunir passed us yesterday, walking with it, and we do not know where he took it, and it is said: It is one of the stakes. [Collection & Reference]: Narration #1790 in Kitab al-Fitan (Nu'aym ibn Hammad).

[Scholarly Verification Notice]: Recorded in Nu'aym ibn Hammad's Kitab al-Fitan (d. 228 AH). Hadith scholars classify this historical compilation as ungraded and weak overall; its isolated reports are not accepted as established doctrine unless corroborated by standard Sahih works.

[Core Subject]: Jahannam, Hellfire, is the abode of punishment for those who rejected Allah and for whom He decrees it. Believers who enter it for their sins are eventually brought out; the disbelievers remain.

[Described Characteristics]: Our fire is one of seventy parts of its heat. Its fuel is people and stones. It has seven gates. The lightest punishment in it is a man with embers under his feet that make his brain boil.

[Timeline & Context]: People enter it after the judgment. Like Paradise, it already exists now.

[Prophetic Practice]: 'Protect yourselves from the Fire, even with half a date in charity.' And ask: 'Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell.'

[Geographical Locations]: Mentioned in narration : Madinah, Homs.
