Kitab al-Fitan of Nu'aym ibn Hammad: ungraded, and weak overall. Never established on its own.

A land called Basra or Al-Basira. The Banu Qantura come to them until they settle in a river called the Tigris with palm trees, and the people therein disperse into three groups: a group that follows its origin and is destroyed, a group that takes on itself and disbelieves, and a group that places its dependents above its backs and fights them, so Allah will grant victory to the rest of them.
