حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله التيهرتي، عن محمد بن إسحاق، عن إبراهيم بن عقبة، عن عطاء مولى أم بكرة الأسلمية، عن سعيد بن المسيب، قال: «الخلفاء ثلاثة، وسائرهم ملوك» ، قيل: من هؤلاء الثلاثة؟ قال: «أبو بكر، وعمر، وعمر» ، قيل له: قد عرفنا أبا بكر وعمر، فمن عمر الثاني؟ قال: «إن عشتم أدركتموه، وإن متم كان بعدكم»
There are three caliphs, and the rest of them are kings. It was said: Who are these three? He said: Abu Bakr, Omar, and Omar. He was told: We have known Abu Bakr and Omar, so who is the second Omar? He said: If you live, you will reach him, and if you die, he will be after you
