Kitab al-Fitan of Nu'aym ibn Hammad: ungraded, and weak overall. Never established on its own.

My nation will not perish until distinction, swaying, and gestures appear in them. Hudhayfah said: So I said: May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah, and what is the distinction? He said: nervousness that people will talk about after me in Islam. I said: what is swaying? He said: The tribe leans against the tribe and makes it unjustly permissible. He said: I said: What is the ma’am? He said: The path of the lands towards each other, so their necks differ in war like this, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ interlocked his fingers. This is when the common people, meaning the governors, are corrupted, and the elite are reformed. Blessed is the man who Allah reforms his elite.
