Kitab al-Fitan of Nu'aym ibn Hammad: ungraded, and weak overall. Never established on its own.

Traced to Ka'b al-Ahbar (automatic guess): a report of earlier scriptures, not a hadith of the Prophet ﷺ.

If a village called Harasta is eclipsed, and two caliphs from the Abbasids are deposed, and the Abbasids disagree among themselves until twelve banners and twelve banners are raised among them, then turmoil will prevail over them in the abode of their kingship, and they will gather in it, and at that time the Hereafter, and the Gihon will cross, and in it they will gather, and at that time their king will fall, and the barbarians will emerge from the Sham (Greater Syria).

[Collection & Reference]: Narration #603 in Kitab al-Fitan (Nu'aym ibn Hammad).

[Scholarly Verification Notice]: Recorded in Nu'aym ibn Hammad's Kitab al-Fitan (d. 228 AH). Hadith scholars classify this historical compilation as ungraded and weak overall; its isolated reports are not accepted as established doctrine unless corroborated by standard Sahih works.

[Core Subject]: Three great collapses of the earth (khusuf): one in the east, one in the west, and one in the Arabian Peninsula. Whole areas will sink into the ground.

[Described Characteristics]: The narration names them as three of the ten great signs and gives no further detail. A separate sahih narration describes an army that marches to attack the Ka'bah and is swallowed by the earth in a desert plain (al-Bayda').

[Timeline & Context]: They are among the ten great signs, which come close together near the end.

[Prophetic Practice]: When the Prophet ﷺ saw a strong wind or dark cloud, his face changed and he turned to Allah in dua until it passed.

[Core Subject]: The Abbasids, descendants of the Prophet's uncle al-Abbas, overthrew the Umayyads in 132 AH and ruled from Baghdad. Some reports are said to foretell their rise.

[Described Characteristics]: The reports that name them, or speak of a ruler called al-Saffah, are weak, and some were spread during the revolution itself. No sahih narration names the Abbasids.

[Timeline & Context]: They ruled from the second to the seventh Islamic century, until the Mongols ended their caliphate in Baghdad in 656 AH.

[Prophetic Practice]: When a movement claims prophecy for itself, check the grade of the narration first.

[Geographical Locations]: Mentioned in narration : Sham (Greater Syria).
