Kitab al-Fitan of Nu'aym ibn Hammad: ungraded, and weak overall. Never established on its own.

Traced to Ka'b al-Ahbar (automatic guess): a report of earlier scriptures, not a hadith of the Prophet ﷺ.

The sign of the cessation of the rule of the son of Abbas is a redness that appears in the atmosphere of the sky, and this occurs between the tenth of Ramadan and the fifteenth, and is weak between the twentieth and the twenty-fourth of Ramadan, and a star rising from the east shines as the moon shines on the night of a full moon, and then drought stops in the east, and weak in the west, and redness in the stomach, and widespread death in the qibla.
