[Collection & Reference]: Narration #8785 in al-Mustadrak (al-Hakim).

[Isnad Grading & Assessment]: Scholar verdicts : al-Hakim: هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد ولم يخرجاه | al-Dhahabi (Talkhis): صحيح.

[Core Subject]: Jahannam, Hellfire, is the abode of punishment for those who rejected Allah and for whom He decrees it. Believers who enter it for their sins are eventually brought out; the disbelievers remain.

[Described Characteristics]: Our fire is one of seventy parts of its heat. Its fuel is people and stones. It has seven gates. The lightest punishment in it is a man with embers under his feet that make his brain boil.

[Timeline & Context]: People enter it after the judgment. Like Paradise, it already exists now.

[Prophetic Practice]: 'Protect yourselves from the Fire, even with half a date in charity.' And ask: 'Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell.'

[Geographical Locations]: Mentioned in narration : Makkah, Baitul Maqdis (Jerusalem).
