Kitab al-Fitan of Nu'aym ibn Hammad: ungraded, and weak overall. Never established on its own.

When the Dajjal emerges, he will attack to the right and attack to the left ، O servants of Allah, be steadfast ، He begins by saying: I am a prophet ، There is no prophet after me ، Then he bends and says: I am your Lord ، And you will not see your Lord until you die ، He is one-eyed, but your Lord is not one-eyed ، And between his eyes it is written: An infidel ، Every believer reads it ، And among his temptations is that he will have a Paradise and a Hell ، A lighthouse is paradise ، His cheek is fire ، Whoever is afflicted by its fire should read the opening verses of Surah Al-Kahf ، And seek help from Allah, so that it may be coolness and peace for him ، Fire was also coolness and peace for Abraham (peace be upon him). ، One of his temptations is that he has demons that appear to him in the images of people ، Then the Bedouin comes and says: What do you think if I send your father and mother to you? ، Do you bear witness that I am your Lord? He says: Yes ، So his demons appeared to him in the image of his father and mother ، They say to him: Son, follow him ، For He is your Lord ، One of his temptations is to control a soul and kill it and bring it back to life ، He will not return to her after that ، No one else will do that ، He says: Look at my servant ، I am sending him now ، He claims that he has a usury other than me ، So he sends him and says to him: Who is your Lord? So he says to him: My Lord, Allah ، And you are the antichrist, the enemy of Allah ، And as a result of his temptation, he says to the Bedouins: What do you think, if I send you your camel, will you bear witness that I am your Lord? He says: Yes ، The devils appeared to him in the form of a camel ، One of his temptations is that he commands the sky to rain and it rains ، He commands the earth to sprout and it sprouts ، And if he passes by the living and they deny him, there will not be anything left for them except that she will perish ، He passes by the neighborhood and they believe him ، He orders the sky to rain for them ، And the earth should grow for them ، So it sprouts ، So their livestock will go to them from that day, the greatest and fattest they have ever been ، Its supply is Khawasir ، And turn his udders around

[Collection & Reference]: Narration #1516 in Kitab al-Fitan (Nu'aym ibn Hammad).

[Scholarly Verification Notice]: Recorded in Nu'aym ibn Hammad's Kitab al-Fitan (d. 228 AH). Hadith scholars classify this historical compilation as ungraded and weak overall; its isolated reports are not accepted as established doctrine unless corroborated by standard Sahih works.

[Core Subject]: The Dajjal (al-Masih al-Dajjal, the false messiah) is a single man who will appear near the end and claim to be God. Every prophet warned his people about him, and the Prophet ﷺ called his trial the greatest from the creation of Adam until the Hour.

[Described Characteristics]: He is a young man, stocky, with thick curly hair, blind in his right eye, which looks like a floating grape. Between his eyes is written ka-fa-ra (kafir), which every believer can read, literate or not. He brings what looks like paradise and hell, but his paradise is fire and his fire is cool water. He orders the sky to rain and it rains. He stays forty days: one like a year, one like a month, one like a week, the rest like ordinary days. He cannot enter Makkah or Madinah.

[Timeline & Context]: In the narrated order he is the first of the great signs. He comes after the great battle with the Romans and the conquest of Constantinople, and Isa (AS) kills him at the gate of Lud.

[Prophetic Practice]: Memorise the first ten verses of Surah al-Kahf, read al-Kahf on Fridays, and in every prayer before the salam ask Allah's refuge from the trial of the Dajjal. Whoever hears of him should keep away from him.
