حدثنا عبد القدوس، عن صفوان بن عمرو، عن عبد الرحمن بن جبير، عن أبيه، عن عائشة، رضي الله عنها قالت: «والله لوددت أني لم أذكر عثمان بكلمة قط، وأني عشت في الدنيا برصاء سالخ، ولأصبع عثمان الذي يشير بها إلى السماء خير من طلاع الأرض من علي»
By Allah, I wish I had never mentioned a word to Uthman, and that I had lived in this world with flawless leprosy, and that Uthman’s finger pointing to the sky was better than the earth rising from me.
