[Collection & Reference]: Narration #253 in al-Mustadrak (al-Hakim).

[Core Subject]: The Hour (al-Sa'ah) is the moment this world ends. Everything alive dies, the universe is undone, and then comes the resurrection. The Quran mentions it again and again, and the Prophet ﷺ spoke of the signs that come before it.

[Described Characteristics]: It comes suddenly, while people are busy with their lives: one man is selling cloth, another is fixing his water trough, another is lifting food to his mouth, and none of them finishes. Before it come signs, small ones that spread slowly and ten great ones that come close together.

[Timeline & Context]: Only Allah knows. The Quran says its knowledge is with Him alone, and when Jibril asked the Prophet ﷺ, he answered: the one asked knows no more than the one asking. Any date or countdown contradicts this.

[Prophetic Practice]: A man asked, 'When is the Hour?' The Prophet ﷺ asked back, 'What have you prepared for it?' The real question is our own preparation, not the date.

[Core Subject]: Al-Hawd is the Prophet's Pool (al-Kawthar), where his ummah drink before crossing. Al-Sirat is the Bridge laid over Hell that everyone must cross to reach Paradise.

[Described Characteristics]: The Pool's water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey, its cups as many as the stars; whoever drinks from it never thirsts again. The Bridge is thinner than a hair and sharper than a sword, with hooks on its sides. People cross according to their deeds: like lightning, like the wind, like fast horses, running, walking, crawling, and some are snatched into the Fire.

[Timeline & Context]: They come after the reckoning, before entering Paradise.

[Prophetic Practice]: Follow the Sunnah without changing it, so you are not turned away from the Pool.

[Core Subject]: The breakdown of family and community bonds before the Hour: severing ties of kinship (qati'at al-rahim), mistreating neighbors, giving false testimony, and concealing truthful witness.

[Described Characteristics]: In authentic narrations from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud and Anas (Musnad Ahmad 3870, al-Mustadrak 7043), the Prophet ﷺ counted among the signs before the Hour: the severing of blood ties, bad neighborliness, the spread of false testimony (shahadat al-zur), and the hiding of true testimony.

[Timeline & Context]: Grouped among the social and moral minor signs that spread when trust (amanah) is lost.

[Prophetic Practice]: Maintain family ties even with those who cut you off, honor your neighbor, and stand firm as a witness for justice (Qur'an 4:135).

[Geographical Locations]: Mentioned in narration : Makkah.
