Kitab al-Fitan of Nu'aym ibn Hammad: ungraded, and weak overall. Never established on its own.

A boy will grow up in the Romans who grows young in one year, as young as a boy in ten years ، So it will be in Roman land and the Romans will own it for themselves ، He says: Until when will we defeat these people over a part of our land? I will go out and fight them until I defeat them for what they have defeated, or they will defeat me for what remains under my feet. ، He will depart in seven thousand ships until he is between Akka and Al-Arish ، Then he sets fire to his ships ، Then the people of Egypt will leave Egypt ، The people of the Sham (Greater Syria) are from the Sham (Greater Syria) ، Until they reach the Arabian Peninsula ، That was the day when Abu Hurairah used to say: Woe to the Arabs because of the evil that has approached ، On that day, the rope and the helmet are dearer to the man than his family and wealth ، The Arabs seek help from their Bedouins ، Then they walk until they reach the depths of Antioch ، It will be the greatest of epics until the horses go to their knees ، And Allah raises victory over everyone until the angels say: O Lord ، Do you not support your faithful servants? He says: Until their martyrs increase ، A third is killed ، A third is returned ، And a third is patient ، Then Allah will lose the third that is returned ، The Romans say: We will continue fighting you until you come out to us, every few of you who are not among you ، Then the non-Arabs come out and say: Allah forbid that we go into disbelief after Islam ، That is when Allah Almighty becomes angry and strikes with his sword ، And stabbed with his spear ، There is no informant left among them except he is killed ، Then they move on ، They do not pass by a city without opening it with the takbir ، Until they come to the city of Rum and find its bay, Batha ، Then Allah Almighty will open it for them ، On that day, such-and-such and such a virgin will be removed ، The spoils are divided according to deception ، Then it comes to them that Christ has come out ، They meet him at Elia's house ، ، ، ، ،

[Collection & Reference]: Narration #1340 in Kitab al-Fitan (Nu'aym ibn Hammad).

[Scholarly Verification Notice]: Recorded in Nu'aym ibn Hammad's Kitab al-Fitan (d. 228 AH). Hadith scholars classify this historical compilation as ungraded and weak overall; its isolated reports are not accepted as established doctrine unless corroborated by standard Sahih works.

[Core Subject]: Isa (Jesus, AS), son of Maryam, was not killed or crucified; Allah raised him up. Near the end of time he descends again, kills the Dajjal, and rules by the law of Muhammad ﷺ as a just ruler.

[Described Characteristics]: He descends at the white minaret east of Damascus, wearing two saffron-dyed garments, his hands on the wings of two angels. When he lowers his head, drops fall like pearls. He finds the Dajjal at the gate of Lud and kills him. He breaks the cross, kills the pig, abolishes the jizyah, and wealth becomes so plentiful no one accepts it. He lives on earth for a time, marries, then dies and the Muslims pray over him.

[Timeline & Context]: He descends during the Dajjal's forty days, just as the Muslims are getting ready for prayer, and Ya'juj and Ma'juj come out in his time.

[Prophetic Practice]: The Prophet ﷺ said: whoever of you meets him, convey my salam to him.

[Core Subject]: Al-Malhamah al-Kubra is the great battle between the Muslims and the Romans (al-Rum) near the end of time. The narrations describe it as one of the fiercest wars in history.

[Described Characteristics]: The Romans land at al-A'maq or Dabiq in northern Syria. An army from Madinah, the best people on earth in that day, goes out to meet them. A third flees and Allah never accepts their repentance, a third are killed and are the best martyrs, and a third win and are never tried again. Sahih Muslim describes a battle so long that men pledge to fight to the death three days running, and so deadly that a bird flying past the bodies falls dead before reaching their end.

[Timeline & Context]: It comes after a truce with the Romans breaks down, and before the conquest of Constantinople and the Dajjal.

[Prophetic Practice]: The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Do not wish to meet the enemy; ask Allah for well-being. But if you meet them, be steadfast.'

[Core Subject]: Al-Rum, the Romans, were the Byzantine Empire in the Prophet's time. Many narrations about the end speak of the Muslims' relations with them: a truce, a joint war, then the great battle.

[Described Characteristics]: Amr ibn al-As heard that the Hour will come when the Romans are the most numerous of people, and he listed their good qualities: they are the most forbearing in trial, the quickest to recover after a disaster, the best to the poor, orphans and the weak, and they resist the oppression of kings.

[Timeline & Context]: Their part runs through the whole time before the Dajjal: first the truce, then the war, then the conquest of Constantinople.

[Prophetic Practice]: Amr's words teach fairness: name the good in others even when speaking of conflict.

[Core Subject]: Three great collapses of the earth (khusuf): one in the east, one in the west, and one in the Arabian Peninsula. Whole areas will sink into the ground.

[Described Characteristics]: The narration names them as three of the ten great signs and gives no further detail. A separate sahih narration describes an army that marches to attack the Ka'bah and is swallowed by the earth in a desert plain (al-Bayda').

[Timeline & Context]: They are among the ten great signs, which come close together near the end.

[Prophetic Practice]: When the Prophet ﷺ saw a strong wind or dark cloud, his face changed and he turned to Allah in dua until it passed.

[Geographical Locations]: Mentioned in narration : Baitul Maqdis (Jerusalem), Sham (Greater Syria), Egypt, Antioch.
