Kitab al-Fitan of Nu'aym ibn Hammad: ungraded, and weak overall. Never established on its own.

Do you know what a dragon looks like? It will be a serpent that attacks a serpent and eats it, then it eats serpents and grows and swells, and increases in its fever until it is burned. If it attacks the animals of the earth and destroys them, Allah will drive them until they come to a river to cross it, and the current of water will strike them until the sea enters them, and they will do to the animals of the sea as they did to the animals of the earth, and they will grow and increase in their fever until the animals of the sea roar from them to Allah. Then Allah will send an angel to them and shoot them until their heads emerge from the water, then the clouds and lightning will come down to them. And until he carries it and throws it to Gog and Magog, it will be their livelihood, and they will slaughter it just as you slaughter camels and cows.

[Collection & Reference]: Narration #1636 in Kitab al-Fitan (Nu'aym ibn Hammad).

[Scholarly Verification Notice]: Recorded in Nu'aym ibn Hammad's Kitab al-Fitan (d. 228 AH). Hadith scholars classify this historical compilation as ungraded and weak overall; its isolated reports are not accepted as established doctrine unless corroborated by standard Sahih works.

[Core Subject]: Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are two huge peoples, descendants of Adam, held back behind a barrier of iron and copper that Dhul-Qarnayn built. Near the end the barrier gives way and they pour out across the earth.

[Described Characteristics]: They come down from every height. Their first ranks drink Lake Tiberias dry, and the last say 'there was water here once'. No one can fight them, so Allah tells Isa (AS) to take the believers up Mount Tur. Isa and his companions pray, Allah sends worms into their necks, and they all die in one night. Birds carry the bodies away and a rain washes the earth clean.

[Timeline & Context]: They come out after the Dajjal is killed, in the time of Isa (AS). It is one of the ten great signs.

[Prophetic Practice]: When Zaynab asked, 'Will we be destroyed while there are righteous among us?', he said, 'Yes, if filth increases.' Guarding against open evil is our part.
