At the hands of the Hour there is temptation like pieces of a dark night. A man will be a believer in the evening and become an unbeliever, and he will be a believer in the morning and be a disbeliever in the evening. Someone will sell his religion for a small offer of this world.

Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said:"Before the Hour there shall be Fitan like a portion of the dark night.

The temptation of a man regarding his family, his wealth, his children, and his neighbour, is expiated by prayer, charity, enjoining good, and forbidding evil. He said: I am not asking you about this, but about the one that waves like the waves of the sea. I said: Do not be afraid, O Commander of the Faithful, for there is a closed door between you and it. He said: Will the door be broken or opened? He said: I said: Rather, it will be broken. Omar said: Then it will never close. I said: Yes. He said: We said: Does Omar know from the door? He said: Yes, just as he knows that there is a night before tomorrow, and that is because I told him a hadith that is not full of errors. Shaqiq said: So we decided to ask him: From the door? So we ordered Masruq and asked him, and he said: The door is Omar

A man's temptation in his family, his money, and his neighbour, is expiated by fasting, prayer, and charity. Omar said: This is not what I want, but what he said about the temptation that ripples like the waves of the sea following one another. He said: I said: Do not fear it, O Commander of the Faithful, for there is a closed door between you and it. So he said: How about the door? Will it be opened or broken? He said: Rather, it will be broken, then it will not be closed until the Day of Resurrection

The trial of good times includes war and flight, and the trial of good times comes out from under the feet of a man who claims to be from me and is not of me. Rather, my friends are the pious. Then the people will reconcile with a man, and then there will be the trial of dawn. Whenever it is said: It will end, it will continue until not a house of Arabs remains without entering it. They fight in it, not knowing whether they are right or wrong. They continue like this until they become two camps: a camp of faith with no hypocrisy, and a camp of hypocrisy with no faith.
