Kitab al-Fitan of Nu'aym ibn Hammad: ungraded, and weak overall. Never established on its own.

What do you think, if a son of Moses had requested that he be buried with his father and he was prevented, would they not have been wronged? I said: Yes, he said: This is the son of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who is not allowed to be buried with his father. Then Abu Hurairah went to Al-Hussein (may Allah be pleased with him) and he spoke to him and Allah implored him and said: Your brother has instructed that if you fear that there will be a fight, return me to the Muslim cemeteries. So he did not let him go until he did so and carried him to Al-Baqi’. No one of the Umayyads witnessed him except Khaled bin Al-Walid bin Uqba, for he appealed to Allah and his relatives and they abandoned him. He witnessed his burial with Al-Hussein, (may Allah be pleased with him)

Synthesized commentary, isnad grading & cross-references

[Collection & Reference]: Narration #421 in Kitab al-Fitan (Nu'aym ibn Hammad).

[Scholarly Verification Notice]: Recorded in Nu'aym ibn Hammad's Kitab al-Fitan (d. 228 AH). Hadith scholars classify this historical compilation as ungraded and weak overall; its isolated reports are not accepted as established doctrine unless corroborated by standard Sahih works.

[Core Subject]: The Prophet ﷺ foretold that the ruin of his ummah would come at the hands of young men of Quraysh, and that rule would turn into kingship after thirty years of caliphate. Scholars connect these with the Umayyad dynasty (41-132 AH).

[Described Characteristics]: Abu Hurayrah said he could name them if he wished. Ibn Hajar and others explain that he meant certain Umayyad rulers, beginning around the year 60 AH, and Abu Hurayrah prayed to die before then.

[Timeline & Context]: This was in the first Islamic century, and it has already passed.

[Prophetic Practice]: Abu Hurayrah sought refuge from 'the year sixty and the rule of boys'. Ask Allah for just leaders.
