The Gathering (Hashr)
In brief
Al-Hashr is the Gathering. All of creation, from Adam to the last human being, is brought together on one vast plain to wait for judgment. It comes right after the resurrection.
The earth is flat and white like a clean loaf of bread, with no landmark on it. The sun comes within a mile of people, and they sweat according to their deeds: some to the ankles, some to the waist, some drowning in it. That day lasts fifty thousand years. Yet seven kinds of people are given shade in the shade of Allah's Throne.
When Aishah asked whether men and women would look at one another, since everyone is naked, the Prophet ﷺ said: 'The matter will be too severe for them to care about that.'
Be among the seven in the shade: a just leader, a youth raised in worship, one whose heart is attached to the mosques, two who love for Allah, one who refuses temptation for Allah's sake, one who gives charity in secret, and one who remembers Allah alone and weeps.

1 Cor & 1 Thess 15:51-55; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
The Mystery of the Last Trumpet, the Voice of the Archangel, and the Bodily Resurrection
The Apostle Paul reveals the apocalyptic mystery of bodily resurrection: 'We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.' In 1 Thessalonians, he details that the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; the dead will rise first, and death will be swallowed up in victory.
Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ will rise first.
