⚖️Read with care: this book is ungraded, and hadith scholars judge it weak overall.Details
Read with care: this is one of the oldest books on the end times, but hadith scholars judge most of its reports weak. Many chains are broken and much of it comes from earlier scriptures (Isra'iliyyat). It is here for history and research, not as a basis for belief or practice.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The mill of Islam will go round till the year thirty-five, or thirty-six, or thirty-seven; then if they perish, they will have followed the path of those who perished before them, but if their religion is maintained, it will be maintained for seventy years. I asked: Does it mean seventy years which remain or seventy years which are gone by? He replied: It means (seventy years) that are gone by. Abu Dawud said: Those who recorded Khirash, the name of a narrator, are wrong. (The correct name is Hirash)

The difference of my companions after me is twenty-five years, killing each other, the hundred and twenty-five is severe hunger, and the Umayyads are killing their successor, one hundred and thirty-three, one of you raising a dog puppy is better than raising a child, one hundred and fifty, the appearance of heretics, and one hundred and sixty, hunger for a year or two, so whoever realizes that, let him save up food, and a meteor will fall from the east to the west, and a threat that every Sunday will hear, the year one hundred and sixty-six, whoever has a dispersed religion, let him collect it. And whoever has a daughter, let him marry her, and whoever is single, let him be patient with marriage, and whoever has a wife, let him stay away from her. The seventy and one hundred kings took away her kingdom, the eighty are afflictions, the ninety are annihilation, and the two hundred are judgment.

My nation has five classes, each class lasting forty years. The first class is me and those with me who are people of certainty and knowledge. The second class is people of righteousness and loyalty. The third class is people of communication and compassion. The fourth class is people of intersection and deliberation. The fifth class is people of joy and joy, chaos and pandemonium. At two hundred and ten, slander, eclipse, and metamorphosis occur. At two hundred and twenty, death occurs among the scholars of the earth, until only one man remains after another. At two hundred and thirty, the sky rains hail like white, and the livestock perish. At two hundred, the Nile and Euphrates are cut off until it is planted on their shores, and at two hundred and fifty the roads are cut off, and lions dominate the sons of Adam, and every people is confined to their city. At two hundred and sixty, the sun is blocked for half an hour, and half of humanity and half of the jinn perish. At two hundred and seventy, no child is born to them and no female becomes pregnant. At two hundred and eighty, women become like dull mules, to the point that a woman is intercourse with forty men without seeing anything of it. And at two hundred and ninety, The year will become like a month, and a month will become like a Friday, and a Friday will be like a day, and a day will be like an hour, and an hour will be like the burning of a palm tree, until a man leaves his house and does not reach the gate of the city until the sun sets, and in the Three Hundred Days the sun rises from the west, and every heart is imprinted with what is in it, {And of no benefit will a soul whose faith has not previously believed or earned good in its faith} And do not ask about what is behind that.

Have you seen this night of yours? For at the end of a hundred years, not a single person who is on the face of the earth will remain. Ibn Umar said: So people were confused about what the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him) said about what they spoke of these hadiths from a hundred years ago. Rather, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him) said: “There will not remain of anyone who is on the face of the earth today, intending thereby to pierce that century.” He said
