O people, you will split into three groups after his emergence: a group that follows him, a group that joins the land of its fathers with the springs of wormwood, and a group that takes the shore of the Euphrates, fighting them and they fighting him, until the believers gather in the west of the Sham (Greater Syria), and they send to him a vanguard of them, a horseman riding a blond or pale horse, and they are killed, and no human among them returns. Salamah said: Then Abu Sadiq told me, on the authority of Rabi’ah bin Najiz, that Abdullah bin Masoud said: A blond horse, then Abdullah said: The People of the Book claim that the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary (peace be upon him), will descend and kill him. While they were dividing the spoils of Constantinople, when news of the Dajjal came to them, they rejected what was in their hands, then they approached and joined Jerusalem, and he prayed behind the one who followed the command of the Muslims. Then Allah Almighty inspired Jesus, son of Mary, to go to Gog and Magog, then the earth pays its zakat as it was at the beginning of the world, then he stays for seven days, then Allah sends a wind and it takes the souls of the believers.

When Gog and Magog go out, the first of them comes out by the lake, Lake Tiberias, and they drink it, then the last of them comes to it, and they say: As if there was once water here. Then when they conquer the earth, they say: We have defeated the earth. Come, fight the people of heaven. So they said: O Messenger of Allah, where will the Muslims be? He said: They fortify themselves, and Allah sends clouds called “unleashed,” and so is His name with Allah. They shoot it with their arrows, and their arrows fall. Soaked in blood, they say: Allah has killed us, and Allah has killed them. So they stay as long as Allah wills. Then Allah Almighty sends to the clouds, and it rains upon them worms like the gores of camels. From them comes out, and each one seizes the neck of one of them and kills him. While they were at that, a Muslim man said: Open the door for me. I will go out and see what they have done, the enemies of Allah. Perhaps Allah has destroyed them. So he comes out, and when he comes to them, he finds them standing dead, one over the other, so he praises. Allah and calls to his companions: Allah has destroyed them, so Allah sends rain and washes the earth from them. He said: Then the Muslims will kindle fire with their bows and arrows for such and such a year, and the Muslims’ livestock will eat from their carcasses, and they will grow fat on them and become arrogant.

If Jesus, the son of Mary, kills the Dajjal, Allah Almighty will inspire him to go, you and the believers with you, to Al-Tur, for my servants have come out that no one can tolerate except me, and the believers on that day will be twelve thousand, not counting the offspring and the women. And Gog and Magog will emerge and they will descend from every direction. They will not pass by water except that they will drain it, and the water that day will be scarce. It will sink at the exit of the Dajjal until they end in Lake Tiberias, so the last of them will say: There was water here once, and then they would come to each other and say: How long, since we have subjugated the people of the earth? Come, let us fight the people of heaven. Then they would shoot their arrows towards the sky, and their arrows would come back soaked in blood, so Allah would send upon them a disease called myiasis, which would take hold of their necks and Allah would destroy them, until the earth stinks from their corpses until their harm reaches the believers where they are. Then the believers come to Jesus and say: We find a certain odor. We have patience for him, but we have no energy for him. Then Jesus calls upon his Lord and the believers, and Allah sends upon them birds of prey, which carry them until they throw them on a mission from the earth, until they become like shells of their blood and fat. The people remain for years gathering wood for their weapons, then they remain for seven years, then Allah sends a wind to take the souls of the believers.

The dragon becomes a serpent and harms the people of the land, among the people of the earth, so Allah throws it from the land into the sea, and when the animals of the sea cry out from it, Allah sends someone to transport it from the sea to the land to Gog and Magog, and makes it a sustenance for them.

Do you know what a dragon looks like? It will be a serpent that attacks a serpent and eats it, then it eats serpents and grows and swells, and increases in its fever until it is burned. If it attacks the animals of the earth and destroys them, Allah will drive them until they come to a river to cross it, and the current of water will strike them until the sea enters them, and they will do to the animals of the sea as they did to the animals of the earth, and they will grow and increase in their fever until the animals of the sea roar from them to Allah. Then Allah will send an angel to them and shoot them until their heads emerge from the water, then the clouds and lightning will come down to them. I have heard that when Jesus, the son of Mary, (peace be upon him) kills the Dajjal and descends on the Holy House, Gog and Magog will appear, and they are twenty-four nations: Gog and Magog, Najij and Juj, the Ghaslaites, the Sabbatians, the Phazanites, the Gothians, and the Zatites, the Canaanites, the Defra’ites, the Khakhoites, and the Antarians. And the cheating ones, and the heads of the dogs, all of them are twenty-four nations. They do not pass by a living or a dead person without eating it, or water without drinking it. When Jesus heard, he panicked to the rock and those with him from among the believers, and he stood up and preached to them, thanking Allah and praising him, and saying: O Allah, grant victory to the few in their obedience to You, over the many in their disobedience to You.
