Read with care: this is one of the oldest books on the end times, but hadith scholars judge most of its reports weak. Many chains are broken and much of it comes from earlier scriptures (Isra'iliyyat). It is here for history and research, not as a basis for belief or practice.

Twelve Persian kings are attending the great epic, the youngest of whom is a king and the least of whom are soldiers is the ruler of the Romans. Allah Almighty has two treasures in Yemen, one of which he brought on the day of Yarmouk. The Azd at that time were a third of the people, and the other will be brought on the day of the great epic, seventy thousand, with their swords drawn.

The Romans on the day of the epic. Ka’b said: “Allah provoked the Bedouins at the beginning of Islam, so they said: {Our wealth and our families occupied us} [Al-Fath: 11] and He said: {You will be summoned against a people endowed with great might} [Al-Fath: 16] on the day of the epic, and they will say, as they said at the beginning of Islam: {Our wealth and our families have occupied us} [Al-Fath: 11], so the verse will befall them: {He will punish you with a painful punishment} [Al-Tawbah: 39] So I spoke to Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid that day, and he said: He spoke the truth. The remainder of his hadith said: Had I not witnessed the conquest of the city of infidelity, I would not have loved to live, for Allah Almighty forbids that day any iron-clad person to be cowardly. He said: And Safwan said: Our sheikh told us that among the Bedouins there would be those who would apostatize on that day as infidels, and among them would be those who would turn to supporting Islam and their army in doubt, so if it was opened for the Muslims on that day, they would send it as a raid on what left the apostate infidel group.

Then the Romans derive from the second nations ، Different tongues swarmed against them ، The Romans gather to them ، And Constantinople ، And Armenian ، Even shepherds and plowmen are angry with the Roman king ، He accepts many nations except the Romans, ten kings ، They are all one hundred thousand and eighty thousand ، The Arabs migrate to each other from different parts of the world ، The two wings meet: Egypt and Iraq in the Sham (Greater Syria) ، It is the head ، The Roman king arrives on a platform carried on two mules ، They will direct their armies and tour all of Syria except Damascus ، Muslims walk to them on their feet ، They meet at such and such depth ، Four citizens ، The two groups walk along a river whose water is cold in the summer ، Hot in winter ، Its water will flow and increase on that day ، The immigrants descend below ، And the Romans are the utmost ، They tie their horses to the trees beside their journey ، They prepare to fight until they reach the land of Qinnasrin ، Their home will be between Homs and Antioch ، And the Arabs between Busra and Damascus and beyond ، The Romans did not leave any wood, firewood, or trees without burning them ، The two groups meet at a river between Aleppo and Qinnasrin ، Then they will reach a depth of land where their fighting is great ، Whoever attends that day should be in the first march ، If he cannot, then the second, third, fourth, or the other ، If he is not able to bear it, then he should stick to the group’s tent and not leave it ، The hand of Allah Almighty is upon them ، Whoever flees on that day will not feel the scent of Paradise ، The Romans say to the Muslims: Leave our land for us ، Return to us all the red and hybrid ones among you and the sons of the concubines ، Then the Muslims say: Whoever wishes will join you ، Whoever wants to pay for his religion and himself ، The Banu Hajn became angry ، And the secrets and the red ones ، They hold a banner for a man from Al-Hamra ، He is the authority that Abraham and Isaac promised to be given at the end of time ، So they pledge allegiance to him ، Then they fight the Romans alone ، They will be victorious over the Romans ، The Hijra Arabs sided with the Romans and their hypocrites when they saw the support of the loyalists over the Romans ، Entire tribes flee ، Most of it is from an otter ، And people from Al-Hamra ، Until they focus their banners on them ، Then the comrades call for excellence ، If someone catches up with them, they call out: The cross has been defeated ، The best Arabs at that time were the Yemeni immigrants ، Himyar, Alhan, and Qais ، Those are the best people on that day ، So, on that day, you will kill and not be killed ، And Jadis is like her ، And the Azd kill and kill ، On that day, the Muslim army will split into four groups ، A group is martyred ، And a band that is patient ، And a band invades ، And a group follows its enemy ، He said: The Romans were very aggressive against the Arabs, so their successor, the righteous Yemeni Qurashi, came with three thousand ، They appoint a prince over them ، And with him were seventy princes ، They are all Saleh, the owner of a flag ، The one who was killed and the one who was patient on that day will receive equal reward ، Then Allah will unleash upon the Romans a wind and birds that will strike their faces with their wings and go out their eyes ، And the earth cracks with them ، They find themselves in a pit after lightning strikes and tremors strike them ، And Allah supports those who are patient ، They will be rewarded just as He was required of the Companions of Muhammad ﷺ. ، It fills their hearts and chests with courage and boldness ، When the Romans saw the lack of patient group, they became greedy and said: Ride on every hoof ، So I trampled them and destroyed them ، Then a Muslim rider stands on his saddle and looks to his right, to his left, and between his hands ، He sees neither end nor discontinuity ، He says: Creation has come to you, and there is no one to support you except Allah ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، And I will give her blood to drink ، Then your Lord will open the treasure trove of His weapons which is in the fourth heaven ، His weapon is glory and might ، Then the angels descend upon them ، Muslims throw their bows ، They hammer the sheaths of their swords and attach them to them ، They point the tips of their spears at them ، And your Lord extends His hand to the weapon of the infidels and holds it together so that it does not cut ، Then their hands were tied to their necks ، And the weapons of the Almohads are directed at them ، If a believer were to hit a peg, it would be cut off ، Gabriel and Michael descend and push them away with the angels with them ، Allah will defeat them ، They drive them like sheep until they take them to their kings ، Their kings fell down with fear on their faces ، Their crowns will be removed from their heads ، They trample them with horses and feet until they kill them ، Until their blood reaches the size of two horses and the ground does not dry it ، And every blood that reaches two horses is an epic ، He slaughtered ، That was the cessation of the Roman kingdom ، Allah Almighty sends angels to the outskirts of its islands to inform them of the killing of the Romans

A man came to us while I was staying, while I was circumcised with a sweat, and he said: Is there anyone staying tonight? So they took him down, and when you looked at him there was a man destined for goodness, as if he were seeking knowledge. He said: Do you have knowledge of Susiya? They said: Yes, he said: Where is it? We said: It is ruined towards the sea. He said: Does it have a spring to which there can be stairs and cold, fresh water? They said: Yes. He said: Is there a ruined fortress next to it? They said: Yes, we said: Who are you, Abdullah? He said: I am a man of the bravest. They said: What is the matter with what you mentioned? He said: The Roman ships would approach the sea until they landed close to that spring, and they would burn their ships. Then the people of Damascus would send to them and they would stay for three days. The Romans would call on them to evacuate the country to them, but they would refuse them, so the immigrants would fight them. The first day would be killing on both groups, the second day would be against the enemy, and the third day Allah would defeat them, and only a few of them would reach their ships. They burned many ships, and they said: We will not leave this country, so he would defeat them. By Allah, the Muslims described that day as the shoes of the ruined tower, and while they were standing there, Allah defeated their enemy until someone came from behind them, telling them that the people of Qinnasrin had arrived and were heading to Damascus, and that the Romans had attacked them, and that there was a rendezvous with them on land and sea, so the Muslim stronghold on that day would be in Damascus.

There is a queen in Morocco who rules a nation ، That nation is dazzled by Christianity ، So you build ships that this nation wants ، Even if you finish making it ، And it made its charge and combat there ، She said: You will ride, Allah willing, even if He does not wish ، Then Allah will send against it a storm of wind, and its ships will strike ، She still does it like that and says it like that ، And Allah does likewise ، Even if Allah wanted to give her permission to walk, she said: Let us ride, Allah willing ، So it sails with its ships, which are a thousand ships ، No ships like her have ever been put on the sea ، They will walk until they pass through the land of the Romans ، The Romans panic at them and say: What are you? They say: We are a nation called Christianity ، We want a nation that we were told had conquered nations ، Either we blackmail them ، Or they blackmail us ، He said: Then the Romans say: Those are the ones who destroyed our country ، They killed our men ، They served our sons and women ، So they supplied us with fifty and three hundred ships ، They will proceed until they anchor in Akka ، Then they would disembark from their ships and burn them ، They say: This is our country ، In it we live ، And there we die ، Then Al-Sarikh, the imam of the Muslims, comes ، On that day, he was in Jerusalem ، He says: An enemy has descended and you cannot defeat them ، He sends mail to Egypt ، And to Iraq he draws them ، Their mail comes from Egypt ، He says: The people of Egypt said: We are in the presence of the enemy ، But your enemy came to you from the sea ، We are on the sea coast ، We will fight for your descendants ، And we leave our descendants to the enemy? The people of Iraq say: We are in the presence of an enemy, so we are fighting for your descendants ، And we leave our descendants to the enemy? The mail that came from Iraq passes through Homs ، They find that the non-Arabs therein have closed off the descendants of the Muslims there ، The news came to them that the Arabs had perished ، So they denied what came to them until the news of that reached them three times ، Then the governor says: Should I wait until every city in the Sham (Greater Syria) is closed to those in it? ، He rises among the people and praises Allah and praises Him ، He says: We sent to your brothers, the people of Iraq and the people of Egypt, to support you, but they refused to support you ، The matter of Homs is kept secret ، He says: There is no support for you except from Allah Almighty ، Walk to your enemy ، They will meet the plain of Akka ، By the one in whose hand is the same heel ، They cannot be patient with the people of the Sham (Greater Syria), like you wearing your clothes, until they are defeated ، They come to the coast and do not find there anything to help them ، It is as if I am looking at Muslims hitting their buttocks in the plain of Akka ، Until they arrive in Mount Lebanon ، Only about two hundred men escape from them, praying in Mount Lebanon until they reach the mountains of Roman land ، The Muslims then went to Homs and besieged it ، And they will throw to you some of them that you know ، It may only be one or two heads ، Let them be left empty from that day on ، And do not dwell ، They say: How do we live in a place where our women were exposed?

He said: “If the camel comes from Andalusia with a thousand talismans ، Then he dispersed it between Al-Aqraa and Jaffa, and expelled your family from Homs ، I said: What will happen to them? He said: The non-Arabs close it to the descendants of Muslims and their women ، He said: Then we surrounded ourselves until we entered Deir Mashal ، He said: You see this wood ، On that day, it will be the catapults of the Muslims ، I said: How much is between the camel's head and Antarsus? He said: It is not permissible for her to complete three years ، Then he said to me: The Romans have three duties ، This is the first ، The other is an army with a thousand castles at sea, which they disperse ، Every soldier has their share ، They go out on a date in one day ، When that day came, each people would go out to the Muslims next to them ، And they burn their ships ، And they make its castles tents ، Then they fight, and the affliction and fighting intensify throughout the Sham (Greater Syria) ، They cannot defeat each other ، And Allah withholds victory ، He draws weapons ، People will be encouraged until it becomes the case for Muslims to fortify themselves in Al-Mada'in ، The Book of the Romans comes to the notice of the city of Mada'in ، Then the non-Arabs of Homs close their doors to the Muslim descendants and women there ، The fighting intensifies in the land of Palestine for four consecutive days, and Abu Al-Zahriyah said: If you wish, I will tell you the first and last day of the four. ، Then Allah Almighty opens the door to the Muslims on the fourth day ، And the Romans are defeated ، The Muslims follow them, killing them in every plain and mountain ، Until the remnants of the Romans enter Constantinople ، They will only stay for a short time until they send to you asking for peace . Kaab said: “Then you will reconcile with them over ten years.” ، In that reconciliation, the woman travels safely ، You and the Romans will invade from behind Constantinople against an enemy of theirs, and you will be victorious over them ، So if you go and see Constantinople ، And you saw that you had reached your families and those of your peace ، Then you and they will invade Kufa and fight it as a battlefield ، Then you and the Romans will also attack some of the people of the East and support them ، So you curse the offspring and the women ، And you take the money ، Then, when you have closed a house, you will descend until you have finished the division of your spoils ، Then the Romans say: Give us our share of children and women ، Muslims say: This is not possible for us in our religion ، But take from all the other things ، The Romans say: We only take from everything ، Muslims say: This is something you will never achieve ، The Romans say: You were defeated by us and by our cross ، Then the Muslims say: Rather, Allah Almighty gave victory to his religion ، While they were quarreling as well, they raised the cross ، Muslims get angry ، Then a man jumps at him and breaks him ، Some people take sides with others ، There was a little fighting between them ، Then the Romans leave in anger until they reach their king and say: The Arabs have betrayed us ، They denied us our rights ، And they broke our cross ، And they killed us ، Their king gets very angry ، He gathers a large crowd of Romans ، He reconciles with whoever of the nations he can ، This is the beginning of the great epic ، Then they march and the Muslims flock to them ، And their successor on that day was Al-Yamani.” ، Kaab used to say: “He is a Yemeni ، He is from Quraysh ، They will fight at the beginning of the earth ، The Romans will have mercy on the Muslims until they expel them from their camp ، Likewise, whenever they meet, the Romans will be on the side of the Muslims ، He also informs Homs of the news ، They will continue to do so until the people of Homs witness the dust and dust ، Then the people of Homs, their children, women, and the weakest people there flee towards Damascus ، Thousands of people die between Homs and Thaniyat al-Aqab ، Of kindness and arrogance ، It means thirst ، The woman even chants as the Persians chant: “Whoever saw so-and-so, the daughter of so-and-so?” A man says: O Abdullah ، I saw her in such and such place ، She had bound her foot with her veil and had become covered in blood ، The fighting between Muslims and Romans intensifies ، Victory is sealed ، Pointing weapons at each other ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، ، They pledge allegiance to a man from among them ، Then they take sides and fight on their side ، The Arabs are fighting on the one hand ، Then Allah will grant him victory ، The Roman king would then perish ، The Romans will be defeated ، Then men stand up on their saddles from the mounts of their horses ، Then they would call out in a loud voice: O community of Muslims ، Allah will never return this conquest until you turn away from Him ، The Muslims pursue them and kill them in every plain and mountain ، It is not permissible for Matmora to refuse ، Nor a city ، Until they reach Constantinople ، At that time, the Muslims would meet a group of Moses’ people who would witness the conquest with them ، On the one hand, Muslims grow older ، The wall cracks and he falls ، People rise up and enter Constantinople ، While they were seizing her money and her captivity, fire fell from the sky in the direction of the city ، If it is inflamed ، Then the Muslims will come out with what they have been afflicted with until they descend on Al-Farquduna ، While they were dividing what Allah had bestowed upon them, they heard that the Dajjal had emerged among your families ، And they leave ، They find the news false ، They join Jerusalem ، It will be their stronghold until the Dajjal emerges

If the great epic was the Roman epic, a group of you escaped and joined the enemy, and another group left and surrendered to you, Allah eclipsed some of them, and sent upon those who remained among them a bird that would snatch away their sight, and then the remaining group would remain. Servants of Allah, whoever of you realizes that and is overcome by self-restraint, let him enter under his tents or hold on to the pillar of his camp, and be patient, for Allah Almighty is the supporter of the remaining group, and that is when he weakens you. Allah Almighty provides the people of the Sham (Greater Syria) when the Romans fight them in the epics with two flocks, a batch of seventy thousand and a batch of eighty thousand, from the people of Yemen, with their swords drawn, saying: We are servants of Allah truly and truly, fighting the enemies of Allah. May Allah remove from them the plague, the pains, and the afflictions, so that there will not be a country more innocent than the Sham (Greater Syria), and what was in the Sham (Greater Syria) of those pains and plagues will be in other places. Of their kings, he prepares a thousand castles for the people of the Sham (Greater Syria), and every time he prepares them, Allah sends a wind blower over them until Allah permits their emergence, so they anchor between Akka and the river, and they occupy every soldier to supply an army.
