Read with care: this book is ungraded, and hadith scholars judge it weak overall.Details

Read with care: this is one of the oldest books on the end times, but hadith scholars judge most of its reports weak. Many chains are broken and much of it comes from earlier scriptures (Isra'iliyyat). It is here for history and research, not as a basis for belief or practice.

I have heard that the black flags emerge from Khurasan, and when they land at the Khorasan obstacle, they land denying Islam, and only the banners of the foreigners from the Maghreb reject them.

Woe to the Arabs after the hundred and twenty-five, woe to them from the great chaos of the wings, and what are the wings, and woe in the wings are the winds that blow, and the winds that move their blows, and the winds that blow slowly. Woe to them from quick death, and terrible hunger, and abject murder. Allah will bring calamity upon them for their sins, and their breasts will be covered, and their veils will be torn, and their pleasure will be changed. And for their sins, their pegs will be pulled out and cut off. Its noises, its winds are disturbed, and its eyes are confused. Woe to the Quraysh because of its heretic, who creates events, disturbs its religion, destroys its walls, and turns against it. Then the wailing women stand up, crying, crying for their world, crying, crying for the humiliation of their necks, crying, crying for the permissibility of their private parts, crying, crying for the presence of their children in their bellies, and crying, crying for hunger. Her children, crying because of her humiliation after her glory, crying crying for her men, crying crying out of fear of her soldiers, crying crying longing for her graves.

So he told us about the Umayyads, even mentioning the emergence of Marwan. Then after Marin, who emerges from the Jazira, will come black flags. They will pour down upon you a torrent until they enter Damascus for three hours of the day, and mercy will be withdrawn from its people. Then mercy will return to it, and the sword will be removed from them, then they will march until they reach Morocco.

Report #566vol.

When it reached the year one hundred and twenty-nine, and the swords of the Umayyads clashed, and the donkey of the Peninsula leaped and conquered the Sham (Greater Syria), the black banners would appear in the year one hundred and twenty-nine, and the ram would appear with a people who did not pay attention to them, whose hearts were like steel, their hair down to their shoulders, and they had no pity or mercy towards their enemy, their names were nicknames, and their tribes were villages, and they were wearing clothes like the color of the dark night, leading them to the Abbas family and the weakness of their state. They kill the notables of that time until they flee from them into the wilderness, and their state will continue until the star with the tail appears, and they disagree among themselves.

Report #567vol.

After them will come the owners of the black banners, and their command and duration will prolong until the pledge of allegiance to two of them is given. When they come together, they disagree among themselves, and their disagreement will prolong until three banners are raised in the Sham (Greater Syria), and if they are raised, this is the reason for the interruption of their term. If it is read in Egypt from Abdullah Abdullah, the Commander of the Faithful, it is not long before another letter is read to them from Abdullah Abd al-Rahman, the Commander of the Faithful, and he is the ruler of the Maghreb, and he is worse than a king, and they are ruining Egypt and the Sham (Greater Syria). If their command in the Sham (Greater Syria) intensifies, the black banners and the companions of The three banners and those in them from the Maghreb against the people of the Maghreb, so they all gather against them and fight them, so the people of the three banners will prevail, and the Berbers will be cut off. Then they will fight the owners of the black banners until their order will be cut off.

I will tell you, I know why he hated it. Rather, it was revealed about a man from his family called Abd al-Ilah, or Abdullah, who descended on a river from the rivers of the East and built two cities on it. The river split a rift between them, gathering in it all the stubborn tyrants. Artat said: If a city is built on the shore of the Euphrates, then the breaks and demarcations come to you, and you disengage from your religion just as a woman abandons her kiss so that you will not refrain from humiliation, it will befall you, and if a city is built between the two rivers.
