والدخان، والروم، واللزام، وقد ساقه البخاري من طرق كثيرة، بألفاظ متعددة، وقول هذا القاص: إن هذا الدخان يكون قبل يوم القيامة ليس بجيد، ومن هنا تسلط عليه ابن مسعود بالرد، بل قبل يوم القيامة وجود هذا الدخان، كما يكون وجود هذه الآيات نم الدابة والدجال، والدخان، ويأجوج ومأجوج، كما دلت عليه الأحاديث عن أبي شريحة، وأبي هريرة، وغيرهما من الصحابة، وكما جاء مصرحا به في الحديث الذي رواه، وأما النار التي تكون قبل يوم القيامة فقد تقدم في الصحيح أنها تخرج من قصر عدن تسوق الناس إلى المحشر، تبيت معهم حيث باتوا، وتقيل معهم حيث قالوا، وتأكل من تخلف منهم.
...এবং ধোঁয়া (দুখান), রোমক এবং অবধারিত শাস্তি (লিযাম)। ইমাম বুখারী এটি বহু সূত্রে এবং বিভিন্ন শব্দবিন্যাসে বর্ণনা করেছেন। আর সেই গল্পকারের এই কথাটি সঠিক ছিল না যে, এই ধোঁয়া কিয়ামতের পূর্বে সংঘটিত হবে; এ কারণেই ইবনে মাসউদ (রা.) কঠোর ভাষায় তার প্রতিবাদ করেছিলেন। প্রকৃতপক্ষে কিয়ামতের পূর্বেও এই ধোঁয়ার আবির্ভাব ঘটবে, ঠিক যেমন অন্যান্য নিদর্শনগুলোর আত্মপ্রকাশ ঘটবে: ভূগর্ভস্থ প্রাণী (দাব্বাহ), দাজ্জাল, ধোঁয়া এবং ইয়াজুজ ও মাজুজ; যেমনিভাবে তা প্রমাণিত হয়েছে আবু সারীহাহ, আবু হুরায়রা (রা.) এবং অন্যান্য সাহাবী থেকে বর্ণিত হাদিসসমূহের মাধ্যমে, এবং তিনি যে হাদিস বর্ণনা করেছেন তাতে স্পষ্টভাবে যেমনটি এসেছে। আর কিয়ামতের পূর্বে যে আগুন প্রকাশ পাবে, সহীহ হাদিসের বরাতে পূর্বে তা বর্ণিত হয়েছে যে, তা আদনের গভীর তলদেশ থেকে বের হয়ে মানুষদের হাশরের ময়দানের দিকে তাড়িয়ে নিয়ে যাবে; তারা যেখানে রাত যাপন করবে আগুনও তাদের সাথে সেখানে অবস্থান করবে, তারা যেখানে দ্বিপ্রহরের বিশ্রাম নেবে আগুনও সেখানে তাদের সাথে অবস্থান করবে, আর তাদের মধ্য থেকে যে পিছিয়ে পড়বে আগুন তাকে গ্রাস করে ফেলবে।
...and the Smoke, the Romans, and the Inevitable Punishment (al-Lizam). Al-Bukhari cited this through numerous chains of narration with varied wordings. The statement of this storyteller that this smoke will occur before the Day of Resurrection was not accurate, and it was for this reason that Ibn Mas'ud refuted him so forcefully. Rather, prior to the Day of Resurrection, there will indeed be an occurrence of this smoke, just as there will be the appearance of these signs: the Beast, the Dajjal, the Smoke, and Gog and Magog (Ya'juj and Ma'juj), as demonstrated by the hadiths of Abu Sarihah, Abu Hurayrah, and other Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), and as explicitly mentioned in the hadith he related. As for the fire that will appear before the Day of Resurrection, it has already been established in the Sahih that it will emerge from the depths of 'Adan (Aden), herding the people toward the Gathering Place, staying with them wherever they halt for the night, pausing with them wherever they take their midday rest, and consuming whoever lags behind from among them.
