The Testimony of the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) Against All Nations on the Day of Resurrection as Evidence of Its Integrity and Honor

شهادة أمة محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام على جميع الأمم يوم القيامة دليل عدالة هذه الأمة وشرفها

قلت: شهادة أمة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم على جميع الأمم يوم القيامة برهان على عدالة هذه الأمة وشرفها، ومضمون هذا، أن هذه الأمة يوم القيامة يكونون عدولا عند سائر الأمم، ولهذا يستشهد بهم سائر الأنبياء على أممهم، ولولا اعتراف أممهم بشرف هذه الأمة لما حصل إلزامهم بشهادتهم، وفي حديث بهز بن حكيم عن أبيه، عن جده أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "إنكم وفيتم سبعين أمة، أنتم خيرها وأكرمها على الله سبحانه وتعالى1".

আমি বলি: কিয়ামতের দিন সমস্ত উম্মতের ওপর মুহাম্মদ (ﷺ)-এর উম্মতের সাক্ষ্য প্রদান এ উম্মতের ন্যায়পরায়ণতা ও মর্যাদার এক অকাট্য প্রমাণ। এর তাৎপর্য হলো, কিয়ামতের দিন এই উম্মত অন্যান্য সকল উম্মতের নিকট ন্যায়পরায়ণ ও নির্ভরযোগ্য হিসেবে গণ্য হবে। এ কারণেই সমস্ত নবী তাঁদের স্ব-স্ব উম্মতের ব্যাপারে এদেরকে সাক্ষী হিসেবে তলব করবেন। যদি সেই সকল উম্মত এই উম্মতের মর্যাদা ও সম্মান স্বীকার না করত, তবে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে এদের সাক্ষ্য কার্যকর হতো না। বাহয ইবনে হাকিম তাঁর পিতা থেকে এবং তিনি তাঁর দাদার সূত্রে বর্ণিত হাদিসে রয়েছে, রাসূলুল্লাহ (ﷺ) বলেছেন: "তোমরা সত্তরটি উম্মত পূর্ণ করেছ, আর তোমরা তাদের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম এবং পরাক্রমশালী ও মহিমান্বিত আল্লাহর নিকট সর্বাধিক সম্মানিত।"

I say: The testimony of the Ummah of Muhammad (ﷺ) over all other nations on the Day of Resurrection is proof of the justice, integrity, and nobility of this Ummah. The implication of this is that on the Day of Resurrection, this Ummah will be regarded as just and upright witnesses before all other nations. For this reason, all the Prophets will call upon them to testify regarding their respective nations. Were it not for the acknowledgment by those nations of the nobility of this Ummah, their testimony would not have been binding upon them. In the hadith of Bahz ibn Hakim, from his father, from his grandfather, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "You complete seventy nations; you are the best and most honorable of them in the sight of Allah, the Glorified and Exalted."
