Mention of the Last Person to Come Out of the Fire and Enter Paradise
ثبت في صحيح مسلم: من حديث الزهري، عن عطاء بن يزيد الليثي أن أبا هريرة أخبره: أن أناسا قالوا لرسول الله: يا رسول الله هل نرى ربنا يوم القيامة? فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
সহিহ মুসলিমে যুহরি থেকে বর্ণিত হাদিসে সাব্যস্ত হয়েছে, তিনি 'আতা ইবনে ইয়াযিদ আল-লায়সি থেকে বর্ণনা করেন যে, আবু হুরায়রা (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু) তাকে অবহিত করেছেন: কিছু লোক রাসুলুল্লাহ (ﷺ)-কে নিবেদন করল, "হে আল্লাহর রাসুল! আমরা কি কিয়ামতের দিন আমাদের প্রতিপালককে দেখতে পাব?" তখন রাসুলুল্লাহ (ﷺ) বললেন:
It is affirmed in Sahih Muslim from the hadith of al-Zuhri, from 'Ata' ibn Yazid al-Laythi, that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) informed him: Some people said to the Messenger of Allah, "O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?" So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"هل تضارون في القمر ليلة البدر?" قالوا: لا يا رسول الله، قال: "هل تضارون في الشمس ليس دونها سحاب?" قالوا: لا، قال:
"তোমরা কি পূর্ণিমার রাতে চাঁদ দেখতে কোনো দ্বিধা বা ভিড়ের মধ্যে পড়ো?" তারা বললেন, "না, হে আল্লাহর রাসুল।" তিনি বললেন, "মেঘমুক্ত আকাশে সূর্য দেখতে কি তোমরা কোনো বাধার সম্মুখীন হও?" তারা বললেন, "না।" তিনি বললেন:
"Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon on the night of the full moon?" They said, "No, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun when there is no cloud covering it?" They said, "No." He said:
"فإنكم ترونه كذلك، يجمع الله الناس يوم القيامة، فيقول: من كان يعبد شيئا، فيتبع من كان يعبد الشمس الشمس، ويتبع من كان يعبد القمر القمر، ويتبع من كان يعبد الطواغيت الطواغيت، وتبقى هذه الأمة، فيها منافقوها، فيأتيهم الله في صورة غير صورته التي يعرفون، فيقول: أنا ر بكم، فيقولون: نعوذ بالله منك، هذا مكاننا، حتى يأتينا ربنا. فإذا جاء ربنا عرفناه، فيأتيهم الله في صورته التي يعرفون فيقول: أنا ر بكم، فيقولون: أنت ر بنا، فيتبعونه، ويضرب الصراط بين ظهراني جهنم، فأكون أنا وأمتي أول من نجتاز، ولا يتكلم يومئذ إلا الرسل، ودعاء الرسل يومئذ: اللهم سلم سلم. وفي جهنم كلاليب مثل شوك السعدان، هل رأيتم السعدان? قالوا: نعم يا رسول الله. قال: فإنها مثل شوك السعدان، غير أنه لا يعلم قدر عظمها إلا الله، تخطف الناس بأعمالهم، فمنهم الموبق بعمله، ومنهم المجازى، حتى إذا فرغ الله من القضاء بين العباد، وأراد أن يخرج برحمته من أراد من أهل النار يأمر الملائكة أن يخرجوا من النار من كان لا يشرك بالله شيئا، ممن أراد الله أن يرحمه، ممن يقول لا إله إلا الله، فيعرفونهم في النار، يعرفونهم بأثر السجود، تأكل النار من ابن آدم إلا أثر السجود، فيخرجون من النار، قد امتحشوا، فيصب عليهم من ماء الحياة، فينبتون منه كما تنبت الحبة في حميل السيل، ويفرغ الله من القضاء بين العباد، ويبقى رجل مقبل بوجهه على النار، وهو آخر أهل النار دخولا الجنة، فيقول: أي رب، اصرف وجهي عن النار، فإنه قد مسني ريحها، وأحرقني ذكاؤها، فيدعو الله ما شاء أن يدعوه، ثم يقول الله: هل عسيت إن أعطيت ذلك، أن تسألني غيره? فيقول: لا أسألك غيره، ويعطي ربه من عهود ومواثيق ما شاء، فيصرف وجهه عن النار، فإذا أقبل على الجنة، ورآها، سكت ما شاء الله أن يسكت ثم يقول: أي رب: قدمني إلى باب الجنة،
"নিশ্চয় তোমরা তাঁকে সেভাবেই দেখতে পাবে। কিয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহ সমস্ত মানুষকে একত্রিত করবেন এবং বলবেন: 'যে যার উপাসনা করত, সে যেন তার অনুসরণ করে।' ফলে যারা সূর্যের উপাসনা করত তারা সূর্যের অনুসরণ করবে, যারা চাঁদের উপাসনা করত তারা চাঁদের অনুসরণ করবে এবং যারা তাগুতের উপাসনা করত তারা তাগুতের অনুসরণ করবে। কেবল এই উম্মত অবশিষ্ট থাকবে, যাদের মধ্যে তাদের মুনাফিকরাও থাকবে। তখন আল্লাহ তাদের নিকট এমন এক আকৃতিতে আবির্ভূত হবেন যা তাদের পরিচিত আকৃতি থেকে ভিন্ন, এবং বলবেন: 'আমি তোমাদের প্রতিপালক।' তারা বলবে: 'আমরা আপনার থেকে আল্লাহর কাছে আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি! এটিই আমাদের অবস্থানস্থল, যতক্ষণ না আমাদের প্রতিপালক আমাদের নিকট আসেন। সুতরাং যখন আমাদের প্রতিপালক আসবেন, আমরা তাঁকে চিনতে পারব।' অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদের পরিচিত আকৃতিতে তাদের নিকট আসবেন এবং বলবেন: 'আমি তোমাদের প্রতিপালক।' তারা বলবে: 'আপনিই আমাদের প্রতিপালক।' এরপর তারা তাঁর অনুসরণ করবে। জাহান্নামের ওপর দিয়ে পুলসিরাত স্থাপন করা হবে, আর আমি ও আমার উম্মতই হব তা প্রথম অতিক্রমকারী। সেদিন রাসুলগণ ছাড়া আর কেউ কথা বলতে পারবেন না, এবং সেদিন রাসুলগণের প্রার্থনা হবে: 'হে আল্লাহ! নিরাপদে রাখুন, নিরাপদে রাখুন।' জাহান্নামে সা'দান কাঁটার মতো বহু অঙ্কুশ (আংটা) থাকবে। তোমরা কি সা'দান কাঁটা দেখেছ?" সাহাবিগণ বললেন, "হ্যাঁ, হে আল্লাহর রাসুল।" তিনি বললেন, "তা দেখতে নিশ্চয় সা'দান কাঁটারই মতো, তবে তা কত বড় তা আল্লাহ ছাড়া কেউ জানে না। তা মানুষের আমল অনুযায়ী তাদেরকে ছোঁ মেরে টেনে নিবে। তাদের মধ্যে কেউ তার আমলের কারণে ধ্বংস হবে, আবার কেউ শাস্তি ভোগ করে নিষ্কৃতি পাবে। অবশেষে আল্লাহ যখন বান্দাদের মাঝে বিচারকার্য সম্পন্ন করবেন এবং নিজ রহমতে জাহান্নামবাসীদের মধ্য থেকে যাদেরকে ইচ্ছা উদ্ধার করার ইচ্ছা পোষণ করবেন, তখন তিনি ফেরেশতাদের নির্দেশ দেবেন যেন তারা জাহান্নাম থেকে এমন লোকদের বের করে আনে যারা আল্লাহর সাথে কোনো কিছু শরিক করেনি, যাদের প্রতি আল্লাহ রহমত করার ইচ্ছা করবেন, যারা বলত 'লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ' (আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোনো সত্য উপাস্য নেই)। ফেরেশতারা তাদেরকে জাহান্নামে সিজদার চিহ্ন দেখে চিনতে পারবেন। আগুন আদম সন্তানের সিজদার চিহ্ন ব্যতীত সমস্ত অঙ্গ গ্রাস করে ফেলবে। ফলে তারা জাহান্নাম থেকে সম্পূর্ণ অঙ্গার ও দগ্ধাবস্থায় বের হয়ে আসবে। অতঃপর তাদের ওপর 'আবে হায়াত' (জীবনের পানি) ঢেলে দেওয়া হবে, ফলে তারা এমনভাবে পুনরুজ্জীবিত হয়ে উঠবে যেমন বানের পানিতে ভেসে আসা পলিমাটিতে বীজ অঙ্কুরিত হয়। আল্লাহ যখন বান্দাদের মাঝে বিচারকার্য সমাপ্ত করবেন, তখন কেবল একজন ব্যক্তি অবশিষ্ট থাকবে যার মুখমণ্ডল জাহান্নামের দিকে ফেরানো থাকবে। সে-ই জাহান্নামবাসীদের মধ্যে সর্বশেষ জান্নাতে প্রবেশকারী। সে বলবে: 'হে আমার প্রতিপালক! জাহান্নামের দিক থেকে আমার মুখ ফিরিয়ে দিন, কেননা এর বিষাক্ত হাওয়া আমাকে স্পর্শ করেছে এবং এর লেলিহান শিখা আমাকে দগ্ধ করেছে।' সে আল্লাহর কাছে যেভাবে ইচ্ছা দোয়া করতে থাকবে। তখন আল্লাহ বলবেন: 'আমি যদি তোমাকে এটি দান করি, তবে কি তুমি আমার কাছে অন্য কিছু প্রার্থনা করবে?' সে বলবে: 'না, আমি আর অন্য কিছু প্রার্থনা করব না।' সে তার প্রতিপালককে যত ইচ্ছা অঙ্গীকার ও প্রতিশ্রুতি দেবে। তখন আল্লাহ তার মুখ জাহান্নামের দিক থেকে ফিরিয়ে দেবেন। এরপর যখন সে জান্নাতের মুখোমুখি হবে এবং তা দেখতে পাবে, তখন আল্লাহ যতক্ষণ চাইবেন সে নীরব থাকবে, এরপর বলবে: 'হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমাকে জান্নাতের দরজার কাছে এগিয়ে দিন!'"
"Verily, you will see Him likewise. Allah will gather all people on the Day of Resurrection and say: 'Whoever used to worship something, let him follow it.' So whoever used to worship the sun will follow the sun, and whoever used to worship the moon will follow the moon, and whoever used to worship false deities (taghut) will follow the false deities. This Ummah will remain, among whom will be its hypocrites. Then Allah will come to them in an appearance other than the appearance they recognize and will say: 'I am your Lord.' They will say: 'We seek refuge in Allah from you! This is our place until our Lord comes to us; when our Lord comes, we shall recognize Him.' Then Allah will come to them in His appearance that they recognize and will say: 'I am your Lord.' They will say: 'You are our Lord,' and they will follow Him. And the Bridge (al-Sirat) will be set up over the midst of Hellfire, and I and my Ummah will be the first to cross over it. None shall speak on that Day except the Messengers, and the supplication of the Messengers on that Day will be: 'O Allah, grant safety, grant safety!' In Hell, there are hooks like the thorns of al-Sa'dan. Have you seen al-Sa'dan?" They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Indeed, they are like the thorns of al-Sa'dan, except that none knows the greatness of their size except Allah. They will snatch people according to their deeds; some of them will be ruined by their deeds, and some of them will be punished and then released. Until when Allah has finished passing judgment among the servants and wills to bring out of the Fire by His mercy whomsoever He wills from among the people of the Fire, He will command the angels to bring out of the Fire whoever did not associate anything with Allah, from among those upon whom Allah wishes to bestow mercy, who used to say 'There is no god but Allah.' The angels will recognize them in the Fire by the marks of prostration; the Fire consumes of the son of Adam everything except the mark of prostration. So they will be brought out from the Fire, having been thoroughly scorched and charred. Then the Water of Life will be poured over them, and they will sprout from it just as a seed sprouts in the silt carried by a torrent. When Allah finishes passing judgment among the servants, there will remain one man whose face is turned toward the Fire, and he is the last of the people of the Fire to enter Paradise. He will say: 'O my Lord, turn my face away from the Fire, for its wind has poisoned me and its intense heat has scorched me.' He will supplicate Allah as long as Allah wills him to supplicate. Then Allah will say: 'Might you, if I grant you that, ask Me for something else?' He will say: 'No, I will not ask You for anything else,' and he will give his Lord whatever pledges and covenants He wills. So Allah will turn his face away from the Fire. Then, when he faces Paradise and sees it, he will remain silent for as long as Allah wills him to remain silent, and then he will say: 'O my Lord, advance me to the gate of Paradise!'"
