From the Signs of the Hour: People Competing in Constructing Lofty Buildings
من علامات الساعة تطاول الناس في البنيان
ذكر أمور لا تقع الساعة حتى يقع منها ما لم يكن قد وقع بعد
এমন কিছু বিষয়ের বিবরণ, যা এখনও সংঘটিত হয়নি এবং যা সংঘটিত না হওয়া পর্যন্ত কিয়ামত কায়েম হবে না
Mention of matters before whose occurrence the Hour will not come, from among those that have not yet occurred
وقد تقدم في الأحاديث السابقة من هذا شيء كثير، ولنذكر شيئا آخر من ذلك، ولنورد شيئا من أشراط الساعة، وما يدل على اقترابها، وبالله المستعان.
পূর্ববর্তী হাদিসসমূহে এ সংক্রান্ত বহু বিষয় আলোচিত হয়েছে। এখন আমরা এ প্রসঙ্গে আরও কিছু বিষয় উল্লেখ করব এবং কিয়ামতের এমন কিছু আলামত ও তার নৈকট্যের নির্দেশক নিদর্শন উপস্থাপন করব। আর আল্লাহর নিকটই সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করছি।
A great deal concerning this has already preceded in the earlier hadiths, and we shall mention something further regarding it, citing some of the signs of the Hour and what indicates its approach; and with Allah lies all assistance.

Among the Signs of the Hour is People Competing in Constructing Lofty Buildings
تقدم ما رواه البخاري، عن أبي اليمان، عن شعيب، عن أبي الزناد، عن الأعرج، عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:
ইমাম বুখারি যা বর্ণনা করেছেন তা পূর্বে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে, আবু আল-ইয়ামান থেকে, তিনি শু'আইব থেকে, তিনি আবু আল-যিনাদ থেকে, তিনি আল-আ'রাজ থেকে, তিনি আবু হুরায়রা (রা.) থেকে এবং তিনি নবী (ﷺ) থেকে বর্ণনা করেন:
What al-Bukhari narrated has previously been mentioned, from Abu al-Yaman, from Shu'ayb, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (ﷺ):
"لا تقوم الساعة حتى يتطاول الناس في البنيان، ولا تقوم الساعة حتى تقتتل فئتان عظيمتان تكون بينهما مقتلة عظيمة، دعواهما واحدة، ولا تقوم
"কিয়ামত ততক্ষণ পর্যন্ত কায়েম হবে না যতক্ষণ না মানুষ সুউচ্চ অট্টালিকা নির্মাণে পরস্পর প্রতিযোগিতা করবে। আর কিয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে না যতক্ষণ না দুটি বিশাল দল পরস্পরের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধে লিপ্ত হবে, যাদের মধ্যে এক রক্তক্ষয়ী মহাযুদ্ধ সংঘটিত হবে, অথচ তাদের উভয়ের দাবি হবে এক। আর কিয়ামত
"The Hour will not be established until people compete with one another in constructing lofty buildings, and the Hour will not be established until two immense factions fight each other, between whom there will be an immense slaughter while their claim is one, and the Hour will not be established
الساعة حتى يقبض العلم وتكثر الزلازل، ويتقارب الزمان وتكثر الفتن ويكثر الهرج، ولا تقوم الساعة حتى يبعث دجالون كذابون قريب من ثلاثين كلهم يزعم أنه رسول الله، ولا تقوم الساعة حتى يمر الرجل بقبر الرجل فيقول ليتني مكانك ولا تقوم الساعة حتى تطلع الشمس من مغربها فإذا طلعت ورآها الناس، آمنوا أجمعون، وذلك حين لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا ولا تقوم الساعة حتى يكثر فيكم المال حتى يهم رب المال من يقبله منه".
ততক্ষণ কায়েম হবে না যতক্ষণ না ইলম তুলে নেওয়া হবে, ভূমিকম্পের প্রাচুর্য ঘটবে, সময় সংকুচিত হয়ে আসবে, ফিতনার বিস্তার ঘটবে এবং হরজ অর্থাৎ হত্যাকাণ্ড ব্যাপকভাবে বৃদ্ধি পাবে। কিয়ামত ততক্ষণ সংঘটিত হবে না যতক্ষণ না প্রায় ত্রিশ জন মিথ্যাবাদী ভণ্ড দাজ্জালের আবির্ভাব ঘটবে, যাদের প্রত্যেকেই দাবি করবে যে সে আল্লাহর রাসুল। কিয়ামত ততক্ষণ পর্যন্ত হবে না যতক্ষণ না একজন ব্যক্তি অন্য কোনো ব্যক্তির কবরের পাশ দিয়ে অতিক্রমকালে বলবে, 'হায়, আমি যদি তোমার স্থানে হতাম!' আর কিয়ামত ততক্ষণ পর্যন্ত সংঘটিত হবে না যতক্ষণ না পশ্চিমাকাশ থেকে সূর্য উদিত হবে। অতঃপর যখন তা উদিত হবে এবং মানুষ তা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, তখন তারা সকলেই ঈমান আনবে; অথচ তা হবে এমন এক সময়, যখন কোনো ব্যক্তির ঈমান তার কোনো উপকারে আসবে না যদি সে পূর্বে ঈমান না এনে থাকে কিংবা স্বীয় ঈমানের মাধ্যমে কোনো কল্যাণ অর্জন না করে থাকে। আর কিয়ামত ততক্ষণ কায়েম হবে না যতক্ষণ না তোমাদের মধ্যে ধন-সম্পদের এমন প্রাচুর্য দেখা দেবে যে, সম্পদের মালিক চিন্তিত হয়ে পড়বে কে তার সদকা গ্রহণ করবে।"
until knowledge is taken away, earthquakes increase, time contracts, tribulations multiply, and al-harj (killing) increases; and the Hour will not be established until impostors and liars are sent forth, nearly thirty of them, each of them claiming that he is the Messenger of Allah; and the Hour will not be established until a man passes by the grave of another man and says, 'Would that I were in your place!'; and the Hour will not be established until the sun rises from its place of setting, and when it rises and people see it, they will all believe, but that will be at the time when no soul will benefit from its faith if it had not believed before or earned good through its faith; and the Hour will not be established until wealth becomes abundant among you, so abundant that the owner of wealth will be distressed as to who will accept it from him."
ورواه مسلم من وجه آخر عن أبي هريرة.
ইমাম মুসলিম এটি আবু হুরায়রা (রা.) থেকে ভিন্ন সনদে বর্ণনা করেছেন।
And Muslim narrated it through another chain of transmission from Abu Hurayrah.
وتقدم الحديث عن أبي هريرة، وأبي بريدة وأبي بكرة وغيرهم رضي الله عنهم:
আবু হুরায়রা, আবু বুরাইদাহ, আবু বাকরাহ এবং অন্যান্য সাহাবি (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহুম) থেকে বর্ণিত হাদিসটি পূর্বে উল্লেখিত হয়েছে:
And the hadith has previously been cited from Abu Hurayrah, Abu Buraydah, Abu Bakrah, and others (may Allah be pleased with them):
"لا تقوم الساعة حتى تقاتلوا الترك عراض الوجوه ذلف الأنوف 1 كأن وجوههم المجان المطرقة ينتعلون الشعر".
"কিয়ামত ততক্ষণ কায়েম হবে না যতক্ষণ না তোমরা তুর্কিদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করবে, যাদের মুখমণ্ডল হবে চওড়া, নাক হবে চ্যাপ্টা ও থেবড়া, তাদের মুখমণ্ডল যেন পিটানো ঢাল এবং তারা পশমের জুতা পরিধান করবে।"
"The Hour will not be established until you fight the Turks, who have broad faces and flat noses, as if their faces were hammered shields, and who wear shoes made of hair."
الحديث وهم بنو قنطورا وهي جارية الخليل عليه الصلاة والسلام.
এটি হাদিসের অংশবিশেষ; আর তারা হলো কানতুরার বংশধর, যিনি খলিলুল্লাহ ইব্রাহিম (আলাইহিস সালাতু ওয়াস সালাম)-এর একজন দাসী ছিলেন।
This is the hadith, and they are the descendants of Qantura, who was a concubine of the Intimate Friend of Allah (Ibrahim), peace and blessings be upon him.
