The Ummah of Muhammad (ﷺ) Will Be the First of the Nations to Be Reckoned on the Day of Resurrection

أمة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم أول الأمم حسابا يوم القيامة

ثم يقضي بين هذه الأمة، لشرف نبيها، كما أنهم أول من يجوز على الصراط، وأول من يدخل الجنة، كما ثبت في الصحيحين من حديث عبد الرزاق، عن معمر، عن همام بن منبه، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "نحن الآخرون السابقون يوم القيامة "1 وفي رواية: "المقضي لهم قبل الخلائق" 2.

অতঃপর এই উম্মতের মাঝে বিচার ফয়সালা করা হবে তাদের নবীর মহান মর্যাদার কারণে, যেমন তারা সর্বপ্রথম পুলসিরাত অতিক্রম করবে এবং সর্বপ্রথম জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে। যেমনটি সহীহাইনে (বুখারী ও মুসলিম) আবদুর রাজ্জাকের সূত্রে, মা'মার থেকে, হাম্মাম ইবনে মুনাব্বিহ থেকে, আবু হুরায়রা (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু) হতে বর্ণিত হাদিসে প্রমাণিত হয়েছে, তিনি বলেন: রাসুলুল্লাহ (ﷺ) বলেছেন: "আমরা (দুনিয়ায়) সবার শেষে আগমনকারী, অথচ কিয়ামতের দিন সবার অগ্রগামী হব।" এবং অপর এক বর্ণনায় রয়েছে: "যাদের বিচার সমস্ত সৃষ্টির পূর্বে নিষ্পত্তি করা হবে।"

Then judgement will be passed among this Ummah, owing to the noble honor of its Prophet, just as they will be the first to cross the Sirat (the Bridge) and the first to enter Paradise. This has been established in the two Sahihs from the hadith of 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from Hammam ibn Munabbih, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "We are the last (in this world), yet the foremost on the Day of Resurrection." And in another narration: "Those for whom judgement shall be rendered before all other creatures."

وقال ابن ماجه: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى، حدثنا أبو سلمة، حدثنا عمار بن سلمة، عن سعيد بن أياس الحريري، عن أبي نصرة، عن ابن عباس أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "نحن آخر الأمم، وأول من يحاسب، يقال أين الأمة الأمية ونبيها? فنحن الآخرون الأولون" 1 والله سبحانه وتعالى أعلم.

এবং ইবনে মাজাহ বলেন: মুহাম্মাদ ইবনে ইয়াহইয়া আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, আবু সালামাহ আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, আম্মার ইবনে সালামাহ আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, সাঈদ ইবনে ইয়াস আল-জুরায়রী থেকে, আবু নাদরাহ থেকে, ইবনে আব্বাস (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) হতে বর্ণিত যে, নবী (ﷺ) বলেছেন: "আমরা সর্বশেষ উম্মত, তবে সর্বপ্রথম যাদের হিসাব গ্রহণ করা হবে। বলা হবে, নিরক্ষর উম্মত ও তাদের নবী কোথায়? সুতরাং আমরাই সর্বশেষ, অথচ আমরাই সর্বপ্রথম।" আর মহান আল্লাহ তাআলাই সর্বাধিক অবগত।

Ibn Majah said: Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Salamah narrated to us, 'Ammar ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Iyas al-Jurayri, from Abu Nadrah, from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "We are the last of the nations, but the first to be called to account. It will be said, 'Where is the unlettered nation and its Prophet?' Thus, we are the last, yet the first." And Allah, the Glorified and Exalted, knows best.
