The Blowing of the Trumpet for the Resurrection

وقد ذكر في حديث الصور أن الأموات لا يشعرون بشيء مما يقع، مما ذكر، بسبب نفخة الفزع، وأن الذين استثنى الله فيها، إنما هم الشهداء، لأنهم أحياء عند ربهم يرزقون، فهم يشعرون بها، ولا يفزعون منها، وكذلك لا يصعقون بسبب نفخة الصعق.

শিঙ্গার হাদিসে (হাদিসুস সূর) উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে যে, ভীতি প্রদর্শক প্রথম ফুৎকারের (নাফখাতুল ফাযা') কারণে যা কিছু ঘটে তার কিছুই মৃত ব্যক্তিরা অনুধাবন করতে পারে না। আর যাদেরকে মহান আল্লাহ এর ব্যতিক্রম করেছেন, তারা মূলত শহীদগণ; কারণ তারা তাদের রবের নিকট জীবিত এবং রিযিকপ্রাপ্ত। সুতরাং তারা তা অনুভব করতে পারলেও ভীতসন্ত্রস্ত হবে না, একইভাবে তারা মৃত্যু ঘটানো দ্বিতীয় ফুৎকারের (নাফখাতুস সা'ক) কারণেও জ্ঞানহীন বা মৃত্যুমুখে পতিত হবে না।

It was mentioned in the Hadith of the Horn that the dead do not perceive anything of what occurs of the aforementioned events due to the Blast of Terror, and that those whom Allah excepted from it are indeed the martyrs, for they are alive with their Lord, provided for. Thus, they perceive it, but they are not terrified by it, nor are they struck down due to the Blast of Swooning (Death).

وقد اختلف المفسرون في المستثنين منها على أقوال، أحدها: كما جاء مصرحا به، أنهم الشهداء، وقيل: بل هم جبريل، وميكائيل، وإسرافيل، وملك الموت، قيل: وحملة العرش أيضا، قيل: وغير ذلك، فالله أعلم.

এই ব্যতিক্রমকৃতদের ব্যাপারে মুফাসসিরগণের মাঝে একাধিক মতামত রয়েছে। তার একটি মত, যা সুস্পষ্টভাবে বর্ণিত হয়েছে, তা হলো তারা হলেন শহীদগণ। আবার বলা হয়েছে, বরং তারা হলেন জিবরিল, মিকাঈল, ইসরাফিল এবং মৃত্যুর ফেরেশতা (মালাকুল মাওত)। এও বলা হয়েছে: আরশের বাহক ফেরেশতাগণও এর অন্তর্ভুক্ত। আবার অন্য মতও রয়েছে; আর আল্লাহই সর্বাধিক জ্ঞাত।

The exegetes differed regarding those exempted from it, holding several opinions. One of them, as explicitly stated, is that they are the martyrs. It has also been said that they are Jibril, Mika'il, Israfil, and the Angel of Death. It was also said: the Bearers of the Throne as well, and it was said: others besides them; and Allah knows best.

وقد ذكر في هذا الحديت، أعني حديث الصور، أنه يطول على أهل الدنيا مدة ما بين نفخة الفزع ونفخة الصعق، وهم يشاهدون تلك الأهوال، والأمور العظام، فيموت بسبب ذلك جميع الموجودين، من أهل السموات، ومن في الأرض، من الإنس والجن، والملائكة، إلا من شاء الله، فقيل: هم حملة العرش، وجبريل، وميكائيل، وإسرا فيل، وقيل: هم الشهداء، وقيل: غير ذلك قال الله تعالى:

এই হাদিসে, অর্থাৎ শিঙ্গার হাদিসে উল্লিখিত হয়েছে যে, ভীতি প্রদর্শক ফুৎকার ও সংহারক ফুৎকারের মধ্যবর্তী সময়কাল দুনিয়াবাসীর জন্য দীর্ঘ মনে হবে, যখন তারা সেসব ভয়াবহতা ও মহাবিপদ প্রত্যক্ষ করবে। এর ফলে আসমানসমূহ ও জমিনে অবস্থানরত সমস্ত সৃষ্টিকুল, মানবজাতি, জিন এবং ফেরেশতাকুল মৃত্যুমুখে পতিত হবে, তবে আল্লাহ যাদেরকে ইচ্ছা করেন তারা ব্যতীত। বলা হয়েছে: তারা হলেন আরশের বাহকগণ, জিবরিল, মিকাঈল এবং ইসরাফিল; আবার বলা হয়েছে: তারা হলেন শহীদগণ; এবং অন্য মতও রয়েছে। মহান আল্লাহ তায়ালা ইরশাদ করেছেন:

It was mentioned in this hadith, meaning the Hadith of the Horn, that the duration between the Blast of Terror and the Blast of Swooning will feel prolonged for the people of the world while witnessing those terrors and momentous affairs. As a consequence, all existing beings will die, from among the dwellers of the heavens and those on earth, whether humankind, jinn, or angels, except whom Allah wills. It was said: they are the Bearers of the Throne, Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil; and it was said: they are the martyrs; and it was said: others besides them. Allah the Exalted said:

{ونفخ في الصور فصعق من في السموات ومن في الأرض إلا من شاء الله ثم نفخ فيه أخرى فإذا هم قيام ينظرون} [الزمر:68] .

"আর শিঙ্গায় ফুঁক দেওয়া হবে, ফলে আসমানসমূহে ও জমিনে যারা আছে সবাই বেহুঁশ হয়ে (মৃত্যুবরণ করে) লুটিয়ে পড়বে, কেবল তারা ব্যতীত যাদেরকে আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করেন। অতঃপর তাতে পুনরায় ফুঁক দেওয়া হবে, তৎক্ষণাৎ তারা দণ্ডায়মান হয়ে তাকাতে থাকবে।" [সূরা আয-যুমার: ৬৮]

"And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will swoon (fall dead) except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown a second time, and at once they will be standing, looking on." [Az-Zumar: 68].

وقال تعالى:

এবং মহান আল্লাহ আরও ইরশাদ করেছেন:

And Allah the Exalted said:

{فإذا نفخ في الصور نفخة واحدة وحملت الأرض والجبال فدكتا دكة واحدة فيومئذ وقعت الواقعة وانشقت السماء فهي يومئذ واهية والملك على أرجائها ويحمل عرش ربئك فوقهم يومئذ ثمانية يومئذ تعرضون لا تخفى منكم خافية} [الحاقة:13-18] .

"অতঃপর যখন শিঙ্গায় ফুঁক দেওয়া হবে একটিমাত্র ফুৎকার, এবং জমিন ও পর্বতমালাকে উত্তোলন করে এক প্রচণ্ড আঘাতে চূর্ণবিচূর্ণ করে দেওয়া হবে, সেদিন সংঘটিত হবে সেই মহাসংঘটন (কিয়ামত)। আর আসমান বিদীর্ণ হয়ে পড়বে, ফলে সেদিন তা দুর্বল ও ভঙ্গুর হয়ে যাবে। আর ফেরেশতাগণ তার প্রান্তসমূহে অবস্থান করবে এবং সেদিন আটজন ফেরেশতা তাদের ঊর্ধ্বে আপনার প্রতিপালকের আরশ বহন করবে। সেদিন তোমাদের উপস্থিত করা হবে, তোমাদের কোনো গোপন বিষয়ই গোপন থাকবে না।" [সূরা আল-হাক্কাহ: ১৩-১৮]

"Then when the Horn is blown with a single blast, and the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with a single crushing blow, on that Day the Event will occur, and the heaven will split, for on that Day it is frail. And the angels will be on its borders, and eight will bear the Throne of your Lord above them on that Day. On that Day you will be exhibited; not among you a secret will be hidden." [Al-Haqqah: 13-18].

It was previously mentioned in the Hadith of the Horn:

"إن الله تعالى يقول لإسرافيل: انفخ نفخة الصعق، فينفخ فيصعق من

"নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তায়ালা ইসরাফিলকে বলবেন: 'সংহারক ফুৎকার (মৃত্যুর ফুৎকার) দাও।' অতঃপর তিনি ফুঁক দেবেন, ফলে যারা আছে সবাই মৃত্যুমুখে পতিত হবে..."

"Allah the Exalted says to Israfil: 'Blow the Blast of Swooning (Death).' So he will blow, whereupon everyone will be struck down..."
