Good Character Is the Heaviest Thing to Be Placed on the Servant's Scale on the Day of Resurrection

"Bravo, bravo for five things, how heavy they are on the Scale: 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah), 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Greatest), 'Subhanallah' (Glory be to Allah), 'Alhamdulillah' (Praise be to Allah), and a righteous child who passes away and whose parent patiently seeks reward with Allah for his loss."

And he said: "Bravo, bravo for five: whoever meets Allah with firm certainty in them shall enter Paradise: believing in Allah, the Last Day, Paradise, the Fire, the Resurrection after death, and the Reckoning." Ahmad alone narrated it.

And just as it is confirmed in the other hadith: "Al-Baqarah and Al 'Imran will come on the Day of Resurrection as if they were two clouds, or two canopies, of birds, interceding and arguing on behalf of their companion."

The meaning of this is that the reward for reciting them will manifest in such a manner on the Day of Resurrection.

The second matter is that the record in which deeds are inscribed will be placed on the Scale, as previously mentioned in the hadith of the slip of parchment (al-Bitaqah), and Allah knows best. It has also been reported that the doer of deeds himself will be weighed, as al-Bukhari said: Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Abi Maryam narrated to us, al-Mughirah informed me, Abu al-Zinad narrated to me from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), who said:

"A huge, fat man will surely come on the Day of Resurrection, yet in the sight of Allah he will not weigh as much as the wing of a mosquito."
