The Second and Third Categories: His (ﷺ) Intercession for Peoples Whose Good and Bad Deeds Are Equal, and for Peoples Who Have Been Ordered to the Fire

النوع الثاني والثالث: شفاعته صلى الله عليه وسلم في أقوام قد تساوت حسناتهم وسيئاتهم وفي أقوام قد أمر بهم إلى النار

النار، فيقول: انطلق فأخرج منهم من قال لا إله إلا الله، فأقول: ومن كان في قلبه مثقال حبة من إيمان. قال: فيقول: يا محمد ليست تلك لك، تلك لي، قال: فأنطلق فأخرج من شاء الله أن أخرج قال: ويبقى قوم فيدخلون النار، فيعيرهم أهل النار، فيقولون: أنتم كنتم تعبدون الله ولا تشركون به، وقد أدخلكم إلى النار قال: فيحزنون لذلك، قال: فيبعث الله ملكا بكف من ماء، فينضح بها في النار، فلا يبقى أحد من أهل لا إله إلا الله، إلا وقعت في وجهه قطرة قال: فيعرفون بها، ويغبطهم أهل النار، ثم يخرجون، فيدخلون الجنة، فيقال لهم: انطلقوا، فيضيفون الناس، فلو أن جميعهم نزلوا برجل واحد، كان لهم عنده سعة، ويسمون المجردين".

জাহান্নাম। তখন তিনি বলবেন: 'যাও এবং তাদের মধ্য থেকে বের করে আনো যে বলেছে: লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ (আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোনো সত্য উপাস্য নেই)।' তখন আমি বলব: 'এবং যার অন্তরে শস্যদানা পরিমাণ ঈমান রয়েছে?' তিনি বলেন: তখন তিনি (আল্লাহ) বলবেন: 'হে মুহাম্মদ, তা তোমার জন্য নয়; তা কেবল আমারই অধিকার।' তিনি বলেন: 'অতঃপর আমি যাই এবং যাদের বের করে আনা আল্লাহ চান, তাদের বের করে আনি।' তিনি বলেন: 'এরপর একদল লোক অবশিষ্ট থাকবে, ফলে তারা জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে। তখন জাহান্নামবাসীরা তাদেরকে তিরস্কার করে বলবে: তোমরা তো আল্লাহর ইবাদত করতে এবং তাঁর সাথে কোনো কিছু শরিক করতে না, অথচ তিনি তোমাদের জাহান্নামে দাখিল করেছেন!' তিনি বলেন: 'এতে তারা অত্যন্ত ব্যথিত হবে।' তিনি বলেন: 'তখন আল্লাহ এক অঞ্জলি পানি সহ একজন ফেরেশতা পাঠাবেন, আর তিনি তা জাহান্নামে ছিটিয়ে দেবেন। ফলে 'লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ' এর অনুসারীদের মধ্যে এমন কেউ বাকি থাকবে না যার মুখে এক ফোঁটা পানি না পড়বে।' তিনি বলেন: 'এর মাধ্যমে তাদের চেনা যাবে এবং জাহান্নামবাসীরা তাদের দেখে ঈর্ষা করবে। অতঃপর তারা বের হয়ে আসবেন এবং জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবেন। তখন তাদের বলা হবে: 'যাও,' আর তারা মানুষদের মেহমান হবেন। যদি তারা সবাই মিলে একজন লোকের কাছেও অবস্থান নিতেন, তবুও তার নিকট তাদের জন্য পর্যাপ্ত সংকুলান হতো, আর তাদের 'মুজাররাদুন' (মুক্ত দল) বলে অভিহিত করা হবে।'

the Fire. So He says: 'Go and bring out from among them whoever said: La ilaha illa Allah (there is no god but Allah).' So I say: 'And whoever has in his heart an atom's weight of faith?' He said: So He says: 'O Muhammad, that is not for you; that is for Me alone.' He said: 'So I go forth and bring out whomever Allah wills that I bring out.' He said: 'And a group of people remains, so they enter the Fire. Then the dwellers of the Fire taunt them, saying: You used to worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, yet He has cast you into the Fire!' He said: 'So they grieve on account of that.' He said: 'Then Allah sends an angel with a handful of water, and he sprinkles it into the Fire, so that not one of the people of 'La ilaha illa Allah' remains except that a drop falls upon his face.' He said: 'Thus they are recognized by it, and the dwellers of the Fire envy them. Then they are brought out and enter Paradise. It is then said to them: 'Go forth,' and they become guests of the people. If all of them were to lodge with a single man, there would be ample room for them with him, and they are called 'al-Mujarradun' (the stripped ones)."

وهذا السياق يقتضي تعدد الشفاعة، فيمن أمر بهم إلى النار ثلاث مرات أن لا يدخلوها، ويكون معنى قوله: فأخرج: أنقذ: بدليل قوله بعد ذلك: ويبقى قوم فيدخلون النار، والله تعالى أعلم.

আর এই বর্ণনাভঙ্গি ইঙ্গিত করে যে, যাদের জাহান্নামে যাওয়ার নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছিল তাদের সেখানে প্রবেশ না করানোর ব্যাপারে তিনবার শাফায়াত অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। এবং তাঁর বাণী 'অতঃপর আমি বের করে আনি'-এর অর্থ হবে 'আমি উদ্ধার করি'; যার প্রমাণ হলো পরবর্তী উক্তি: 'এরপর একদল লোক অবশিষ্ট থাকবে, ফলে তারা জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে।' আর মহান আল্লাহই সর্বাধিক অবগত।

This context indicates the multiplicity of intercession regarding those who were ordered to the Fire three times that they should not enter it. The meaning of his saying, 'so I bring out,' would be 'I rescue,' as proven by his subsequent statement: 'and a group of people remains, so they enter the Fire.' And Allah the Exalted knows best.
