ثمار الجنة

وقال تعالى:

এবং মহান আল্লাহ বলেন:

And Allah the Exalted says:

{إن المتقين في ظلال وعيون وفواكه مما يشتهون كلوا واشربوا هنيئا بما كنتم تعملون إنا كذلك نجزي المحسنين} . [77- المرسلات- 41- 44] .

"নিশ্চয় মুত্তাকীরা থাকবে ছায়াসমূহ ও ঝর্ণাধারায়, এবং তাদের বাঞ্ছিত ফলমূলের মাঝে। (তাদের বলা হবে:) তোমরা যা করতে তার বিনিময়ে তৃপ্তি সহকারে খাও ও পান করো। এভাবেই আমি সৎকর্মশীলদের পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি।" [আল-মুরসালাত: ৪১-৪৪] ।

"Indeed, the righteous will be amid cool shades and springs, and fruits from whatever they desire. 'Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do.' Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good." [al-Mursalat: 41-44].

وقال تعالى:

এবং মহান আল্লাহ বলেন:

And Allah the Exalted says:

{وفاكهة مما يتخيرون ولحم طير مما يشتهون وحور عين كأمثال اللؤلؤ المكنون جزاء بما كانوا يعملون} . [56- الواقعة- 20-24] .

"আর তাদের পছন্দমাফিক ফলমূল, এবং তাদের চাহিদামতো পাখির গোশত নিয়ে, এবং ডাগর চোখের অধিকারিণী হুরগণ, যেন তারা সুরক্ষিত মুক্তা; তারা যে আমল করত তার পুরস্কারস্বরূপ।" [আল-ওয়াকিয়া: ২০-২৪] ।

"And fruit of what they select, and the meat of fowl from whatever they desire, and fair maidens with large, lovely eyes, like unto preserved pearls, as a reward for what they used to do." [al-Waqi'ah: 20-24].

وقد سبق فيما أوردناه من الأحاديث: أن تربة الجنة من مسك وزعفران، وأنه ما في الجنة شجرة إلا ولها ساق من ذهب فإذا كانت تربة الجنة هذه، والأصول كما ذكرنا، فما ظنك بما يتولد منها، من الثمرة الرائقة، الناضجة، الأنيقة، التي ليس في الدنيا منها إلا الأسماء? قال ابن عباس رضي الله عنه: "ليس في الجنة من الدنيا إلا الأسماء".

ইতিপূর্বে আমরা যেসকল হাদিস উল্লেখ করেছি, তাতে বর্ণিত হয়েছে যে জান্নাতের মাটি কস্তূরী ও জাফরান নির্মিত, এবং জান্নাতের এমন কোনো বৃক্ষ নেই যার কাণ্ড স্বর্ণের নয়। জান্নাতের মাটি যদি এমন হয় এবং তার মূল ও কাণ্ড যদি এমন হয় যেমনটি আমরা উল্লেখ করেছি, তবে তা থেকে উৎপন্ন হওয়া মনোরম, পরিপক্ব ও অতুলনীয় ফলমূল কেমন হতে পারে, দুনিয়ায় যার কেবল নামের মিল ছাড়া আর কিছুই নেই? ইবনে আব্বাস (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু) বলেন: "জান্নাতের নেয়ামতের সাথে দুনিয়ার কোনো কিছুরই মিল নেই, কেবল নামের সাদৃশ্য ছাড়া।"

It has previously been mentioned in the hadiths we cited that the soil of Paradise is musk and saffron, and that there is no tree in Paradise except that its trunk is of gold. If such is the soil of Paradise and its roots and trunks are as we have described, then what do you imagine would be produced from it of exquisite, ripe, and splendid fruits, of which nothing exists in this worldly life except the names? Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "There is nothing in Paradise of what is in this worldly life except the names."

وإذا كان السدر الذي في الدنيا وهو لا يثمر إلا ثمرة ضعيفة وهو النبق، وشوكه كثير، والطلح الذي لا يراد منه في الدنيا إلا الظل، يكونان في الجنة في غابة من كثرة الثمار وحسنها، حتى إن الثمرة الواحدة منها تنفتق عن سبعين نوعا من الطعوم، والألوان، التي يشبه بعضها بعضا، فما ظنك بثمار الأشجار، التي تكون في الدنيا حسنة الثمار، كالتفاح، والنخل، والعنب، وغير ذلك? وما ظنك بأنواع الرياحين، والأزاهير? وبالجملة، فإن فيها ما لا عين رأت ولا أذن سمعت، ولا خطر على قلب بشر، نسأل الله منها فضله.

দুনিয়ার কুলগাছ (সদর), যা কেবল সামান্য ফল উৎপন্ন করে অর্থাৎ কুল বা বরই, এবং যাতে কাঁটা থাকে প্রচুর; আর বাবলা গাছ (তালহ), দুনিয়ায় যা থেকে ছায়া ছাড়া আর কিছুই আশা করা যায় না, জান্নাতে যদি সেগুলো প্রাচুর্য ও সৌন্দর্যের দিক থেকে ফলের এক মহা উৎস হয়, এমনকি এর একটিমাত্র ফল থেকেই সত্তর ধরণের স্বাদ ও রঙের বিকাশ ঘটে, যার একটি অপরটির সদৃশ, তবে দুনিয়াতে যেসমস্ত বৃক্ষ চমৎকার ফল দেয় যেমন আপেল, খেজুর, আঙুর ইত্যাদির ফল জান্নাতে কেমন হবে? আর সেখানকার সুগন্ধি গুল্ম ও পুষ্পরাজির অবস্থাই বা কেমন হতে পারে? সংক্ষেপে বলতে গেলে, সেখানে এমনসব নেয়ামত রয়েছে যা কোনো চোখ কখনো দেখেনি, কোনো কান কখনো শোনেনি এবং কোনো মানুষের অন্তরেও কখনো তার কল্পনা জাগেনি। আমরা মহান আল্লাহর নিকট তাঁর অনুগ্রহ প্রার্থনা করি।

If the lote tree (sidr) in this world, which bears only a meager fruit, namely the nabq, and has abundant thorns, and the acacia (talh), from which nothing is sought in this world except shade, are in Paradise at the utmost pinnacle of abundant and delightful fruit, to the extent that a single fruit from them splits open into seventy varieties of flavors and colors that resemble one another, then what do you think of the fruits of trees that bear excellent fruit in this world, such as apples, date palms, grapes, and the like? And what do you think of the varieties of fragrant herbs and blossoms? In short, therein is what no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, and no human heart has ever conceived. We ask Allah of His bounty.

وفي الصحيحين: من حديث مالك، عن زيد بن أسلم عن عطاء بن يسار، عن ابن عباس، في حديث صلاة الكسوف.
