Mention of the Attire of the People of Paradise, Their Ornaments, Garments, and Beauty

ذكر لباس أهل الجنة وحليهم وثيابهم وجمالهم

{ولهم فيها أزواج مطهرة} . [2- البقرة-25] .

{এবং তাদের জন্য সেখানে থাকবে পবিত্র সঙ্গিনীগণ} [সূরা আল-বাকারাহ: ২৫]।

{And for them therein are purified spouses} [Al-Baqarah: 25].

قال: "من الحيض والغائط والنخامة والبزاق".

তিনি বলেন: "মাসিক স্রাব, মল-মূত্র, শ্লেষ্মা ও থুতু থেকে তারা পবিত্র।"

He said: "Purified from menstruation, feces, mucus, and spit."

وقال أبو الأحوص: عند قوله: {حور مقصورات في الخيام} "بلغنا فى الرواية أن سحابة أمطرت من تحت العرش فخلقن من قطراتها، ثم ضربت على كل واحدة خيمة على شاطىء الآنهار، سعتها أربعون ميلا، وليس لها باب، حتى إذا حل ولي الله بالخيمة انصدعت الخيمة عن باب، ليعلم ولي الله أن أبصار المخلوقين من الملائكة، والخدم، لم تأخذها، فهن مقصورات قد قصرت عن إبصار المخلوقين".

আবু আল-আহওয়াস মহান আল্লাহর বাণী: {তাঁবুতে সুরক্ষিতা হূরগণ} [সূরা আর-রহমান: ৭২] প্রসঙ্গে বলেন: "বর্ণনায় আমাদের কাছে পৌঁছেছে যে, আরশের নিচ থেকে একটি মেঘমালা বর্ষিত হয়েছিল এবং তার ফোঁটাগুলো থেকেই তাদের সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে। অতঃপর তাদের প্রত্যেকের জন্য নদীর তীরে চল্লিশ মাইল প্রশস্ত একটি করে তাঁবু স্থাপন করা হয়েছে, যার কোনো দরজা নেই। অবশেষে যখন আল্লাহর কোনো ওলী সেই তাঁবুতে উপস্থিত হবেন, তখন তাঁবুটি বিদীর্ণ হয়ে একটি প্রবেশদ্বার উন্মোচিত হবে, যাতে আল্লাহর ওলী জানতে পারেন যে ফেরেশতা ও খাদেমসহ কোনো সৃষ্টির দৃষ্টিও তাদের ওপর পড়েনি। সুতরাং তারা সুরক্ষিতা, সৃষ্টির দৃষ্টির অন্তরালে রক্ষিতা।"

Abu al-Ahwas said regarding His saying: {Fair ones reserved in pavilions} [Al-Rahman: 72]: "It has reached us in narration that a cloud rained from beneath the Throne and they were created from its drops. Then a tent was pitched over each of them on the bank of the rivers, measuring forty miles in breadth, having no door. When the friend of Allah arrives at the tent, it cleaves open to form an entrance, so that the friend of Allah may know that the gazes of created beings, such as angels and servants, have never fallen upon her; thus they are reserved, screened from the eyes of created beings."

وقال تعالى: {وحور عين كأمثال اللؤلؤ المكنون} . [56- الواقعة- 22] .

মহান আল্লাহ আরও বলেন: {এবং সুনয়না হূরগণ, যেন তারা সুরক্ষিত মুক্তা} [সূরা আল-ওয়াকিয়া: ২২-২৩]।

And Allah the Exalted said: {And wide-eyed houris, like unto preserved pearls} [Al-Waqi'ah: 22-23].

وقال في الآية الآخرى: {كأنهن بيض مكنون} . [37-الصافات- 49] .

তিনি অন্য আয়াতে বলেন: {যেন তারা সযত্নে রক্ষিত ডিম্ব} [সূরা আস-সাফফাত: ৪৯]।

And He said in another verse: {As if they were hidden eggs} [Al-Saffat: 49].

قيل: إنه بيض النعام المكنون في الرمل: وبياضه عند العرب أحسن ألوان البياض، وقيل: المراد به اللؤلؤ قبل أن يبرز من صدفه.

বলা হয়েছে: এটি বালির নিচে লুকানো উটপাখির ডিম, যার শুভ্র বর্ণ আরবদের কাছে সবচেয়ে সুন্দর শুভ্রতা হিসেবে বিবেচিত হতো। আবার এও বলা হয়েছে: এর দ্বারা উদ্দেশ্য হলো ঝিনুকের খোলস থেকে বের করার পূর্বের মুক্তা।

It was said: This refers to ostrich eggs hidden in the sand, whose pristine white color was considered by the Arabs to be the most beautiful of whites. And it was said: It refers to pearls before they are extracted from their shells.

وقال تعالى: {إنا أنشأناهن إنشاء فجعلناهن أبكارا عربا أترابا لأصحاب اليمين} . [56- الواقعة- 35- 38] .

মহান আল্লাহ আরও বলেন: {নিশ্চয় আমি তাদের বিশেষ রূপে সৃষ্টি করেছি, অতঃপর তাদেরকে বানিয়েছি কুমারী, সোহাগিনী এবং সমবয়সী, ডানদিকের লোকদের জন্য} [সূরা আল-ওয়াকিয়া: ৩৫-৩৮]।

And Allah the Exalted said: {Indeed, We have created them a new creation, and made them virgins, devoted and equal in age, for the companions of the right} [Al-Waqi'ah: 35-38].

أي أنشأهن الله بعد الكبر والعجز والضعف في الدنيا، فصرن في الجنة شبابا طريا أبكارا عربا أي: متحببات إلى بعولهن، أترابا لأصحاب اليمين أي: في مثل أعمارهم.

অর্থাৎ, দুনিয়ার বার্ধক্য, দুর্বলতা ও অক্ষমতার পর আল্লাহ তাদের নতুন রূপে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। ফলে জান্নাতে তারা চিরযৌবনা, লাবণ্যময়ী ও কুমারী হয়েছে; 'উরুবা' অর্থ তাদের স্বামীদের প্রতি অত্যন্ত অনুরাগিণী ও সোহাগিনী; এবং ডানদিকের লোকদের জন্য 'আত্রাবা' অর্থ তাদের সমবয়সী।

Meaning, Allah brought them into a new creation after old age, decrepitude, and weakness in the worldly life, so that in Paradise they became youthful, fresh, and virgins; 'devoted' ('uruban), meaning loving and endearing towards their husbands; and 'equal in age' (atraban) for the companions of the right, meaning matching their ages.
