Section: On Some Attributes of the Inhabitants of Paradise and the Inhabitants of Hellfire

فصل في بعض صفات أهل الجنة وبعض صفات أهل النار

"ما من أحد من الناس يموت سقطا ولا هرما أو فيما بين ذلك، إلا بعث ابن ثلاثين. وفي رواية- ثلاث وثلاثين- سنة فإن كان من أهل الجنة كان على مسحة وصورة يوسف، وقلب أيوب، مردا مكحلين، ومن كان من أهل النار عظموا وفخموا كالجبال".

"মানবজাতির মধ্যে এমন কেউ নেই যে গর্ভপাতজনিত কারণে কিংবা বার্ধক্যে অথবা এর মধ্যবর্তী কোনো বয়সে মারা যায়, যাকে ত্রিশ বছর বয়সে পুনরুত্থিত করা হবে না (এবং এক বর্ণনায় রয়েছে: তেত্রিশ বছর)। যদি সে জান্নাতবাসীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়, তবে সে ইউসুফ (আ.)-এর সৌন্দর্য ও রূপের অধিকারী হবে, আইয়ুব (আ.)-এর হৃদয়ের অধিকারী হবে, দাড়িহীন ও সুরমাযুক্ত আঁখিবিশিষ্ট হবে। আর যারা জাহান্নামী হবে, তাদেরকে পাহাড়ের ন্যায় বিশালাকার ও বিশালদেহী করা হবে।"

"There is no one among mankind who dies as a miscarried fetus, or in extreme old age, or anywhere between that, except that he will be resurrected at the age of thirty (and in one narration, thirty-three) years. If he is of the people of Paradise, he will have the beauty and form of Yusuf, the heart of Ayyub, beardless with kohl-rimmed eyes. And whoever is of the people of Hellfire, they will be magnified and inflated like mountains."

وفي رواية: "حتى تصير جلدة يد أحدهم أربعين ذراعا وحتى يصير ناب من أنيابه مثل أحد".

অন্য এক বর্ণনায় রয়েছে: "এমনকি তাদের একজনের হাতের চামড়া চল্লিশ গজ পুরু হবে এবং তাদের দাঁতগুলোর মধ্যে একটি দাঁত উহুদ পাহাড়ের সমান হবে।"

And in another narration: "To the extent that the skin of one of their arms will become forty cubits thick, and one of their molar teeth will be like Mount Uhud."

وثبت: "أن أهل الجنة يأكلون، ويشربون، ولا يبولون، ولا يتغوطون، وإنما ينصرف طعامهم بأنهم يعرقون عرقا، له رائحة كرائحة المسك الأذفر، وأنفاسهم تحميد وتكبير، وتسبيح" 1.

এবং এটি প্রমাণিত যে: "জান্নাতবাসীরা পানাহার করবে, কিন্তু তারা প্রস্রাব বা মলত্যাগ করবে না। বরং তাদের নির্গত ঘামের মাধ্যমে তাদের খাদ্য হজম হবে, যার সুবাস হবে সুমিষ্ট কস্তুরীর মতো; এবং তাদের প্রতিটি নিঃশ্বাস হবে তাহমীদ (আলহামদুলিল্লাহ), তাকবীর (আল্লাহু আকবার) এবং তাসবীহ (সুবহানাল্লাহ)।"

It is also established that: "The people of Paradise will eat and drink, but they will neither urinate nor defecate. Rather, their food will be digested by emitting a sweat whose fragrance is like that of pure, pungent musk; and their breaths will be praise (Tahmid), glorification (Takbir), and exaltation (Tasbih)."

وثبت: "أن أول زمرة منهم على صورة القمر، ثم الذين يلونهم في البهاء كأضواء كوكب دري في السماء، وأنهم يجامعون، ولا يتناسلون، ولا يتوالدون، إلا ما يشاؤون، وأنهم لا يموتون، ولا ينامون، لكمال حياتهم بكثرة لذاتهم، وتوالي طعامهم وشرابهم، وكلما ازدادوا خلودا ازدادوا حسنا، وجمالا، وشبابا، وقوة، وكمالا، وازدادت لهم الجنة حسنا، وبهاء، وطيبا، وضياء، وكانوا أرغب فيها، وأحرص عليها، فكانت لهم أعز وأغلى وألذ، وأحلى، قال الله تعالى: {خالدين فيها لا يبغون عنها حولا} . [18- الكهف-108] .

আরও প্রমাণিত যে: "তাদের প্রথম দলটির রূপ হবে পূর্ণিমার চাঁদের ন্যায়, আর সৌন্দর্যের দিক থেকে তাদের পরবর্তী দলটি হবে আকাশে দীপ্তিমান উজ্জ্বলতম তারকার মতো। তারা সহবাস করবে, কিন্তু তাদের সন্তানসন্ততি জন্ম নেবে না, তবে তারা যা কামনা করবে তা ছাড়া। তারা কখনো মৃত্যুবরণ করবে না এবং নিদ্রাও যাবে না, কারণ তাদের জীবন পরিপূর্ণ, তাদের স্বাদ-আহ্লাদ অফুরন্ত এবং তাদের পানাহার অবিরাম। যতকাল তারা সেখানে চিরস্থায়ী থাকবে, ততই তাদের রূপ, সৌন্দর্য, তারুণ্য, শক্তি ও পূর্ণতা বৃদ্ধি পাবে; এবং জান্নাতও তাদের জন্য সৌন্দর্য, শোভা, সুবাস ও আলোকোজ্জ্বলতায় আরও সমৃদ্ধ হবে। তারা এর প্রতি আরও বেশি অনুরক্ত ও আগ্রহী হবে এবং তা তাদের নিকট আরও অধিক মূল্যবান, সম্মানিত, পরম উপভোগ্য ও মধুরতম মনে হবে। মহান আল্লাহ তাআলা ইরশাদ করেছেন: {তারা সেখানে চিরকাল থাকবে এবং সেখান থেকে স্থানান্তরিত হতে চাইবে না।} [সূরা আল-কাহাফ: ১০৮]।"

It is likewise established: "That the first group among them will be in the likeness of the moon, and those who follow them in radiance will be like the brightest shining star in the sky; and that they will have intimate relations without procreating or having children unless they so wish; and they will never die nor sleep, owing to the perfection of their life, the abundance of their delights, and the continuous provision of their food and drink. The longer they abide eternally, the more they will increase in elegance, beauty, youth, strength, and perfection; and Paradise will likewise increase in beauty, splendor, pleasantness, and light for them. They will desire it all the more and hold it all the dearer, and it will become to them more precious, exquisite, delicious, and sweeter. Allah the Exalted said: {Wherein they abide eternally, they desire no transfer from it.} [Al-Kahf: 108]."
